Sunset Guest house

This place is simply perfect—a true 10/10. It is exceptionally well-located and close to everything: the beach, bus stops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, a laundromat, and ATMs. Everything is within a 5-minute walk on mostly flat ground. The owners—a lovely mother and her son—are absolutely wonderful, helpful, and attentive. They keep the place spotless and welcoming, and you can really feel their warmth and care. It is a delight to have breakfast on the terrace with a view of the mountains or to enjoy dinner overlooking the flowers in the small garden. The best assets here are the spacious room, the well-equipped kitchen, and the mini-fridge. Having a kitchen with good basic supplies as well as storage space for groceries makes it easy to prepare breakfast, fresh salads, or simple dinners. The room itself is very neat and clean, with super comfortable beds, great air conditioning, and convenient shared spaces. To be honest, this place has everything! I really enjoyed staying here and I’ll come back for sure. It beats a 4 stars hotel.

The AC in my room was noisy, so I turned it off when going to sleep. From time to time, noise could be heard from the other rooms, as well as when people were in the kitchen or on the terrace. It wasn't bothersome for me as it never lasted long.

All perfect here, the apartment was really clean and has everything that you need for your stay, with all the facilities for a days or week. The staff is really friendly and attentive with everything. The location also is perfect, near of center, beach and bus station. To be honest, this place has everything, I’ll come back for sure.

Nothing

The owner is such a lovely kind woman , friendly and helpful . The room was huge with great facilities

We had the only room without a view outside as the roof of the above property hung over ours

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic, the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and it was a great base for exploring Himarë. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated our time here.

Unfortunately, our final interaction with the host put a negative spin on an otherwise wonderful stay. We were spoken very aggressively after rinsing a hot pan under water, something we genuinely didn’t realise could cause an issue. During the interaction, the host said to my partner, “I work like a dog and you expect me to pay for the damage.” Although he apologised immediately, explained that it was an honest mistake, and stopped straight away, she continued to raise her voice multiple times and used physical contact too. We completely understand the importance of looking after the property, but we felt the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding. The interaction left my partner quite upset and rattled, and unfortunately left a sour taste at the end of what had otherwise been a great stay!
