Pool, service and breakfast was superb.

The property was clean , it was extremely well located and the room was spacious , comfortable and had all the amenities. Sue was really friendly and helpful with everything and breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great selection of fruit and cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to be visiting Cape Town. I will definitely be back!

Sue and Steve are wonderful hosts, who go above and beyond to make stays comfortable for their guest. From accommodating gluten and lactose intolerance, to giving recommendations to being flexible whenever possible, Sue has made our stay truly exceptional. The property is in a top-notch state, and it has a fantastic location, especially if you come with/by a car.

Sue was a lovely and friendly host. She greeted me warmly and was really helpful with check-in. The guesthouse was well stocked with snacks and access to tea and coffee. Breakfast was a delicious full english with yoghurt and fruits on the side.

The room was lovely, comfortable and in a great condition. The little snacks and juice in the fridge were so thoughtful and were filled up daily. Beautiful bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The room had a very comforting feel. Sue was a lovely host and made a great breakfast. Fabulous shower! I could've spent the whole day in my room.

The Victorian Goose is a great guesthouse. The location was perfect for us, close to family in Newlands and Wynburg and also the Kirstenbosch Gradens and Newlands Swimming Pool.
The accommodation was so comfortable, and Sue and Steve so friendly. They were always happy to help and provided extra chairs for us in the big room for our family to sit and have tea in the one room. The breakfast each morning was delicious too.
