Danhostel Aarhus City

The hostel was in a fantastic location, close to the best spots in town. The room was extremely clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was new, clean and functional. Good breakfast with homemade bread was included in the price we paid.

Not the hostel responsibility, but it can get very noisy outside, since it is very close to bars.

The location could not be better, so central, everything you want to see is in walkable distance. And you also reach the train station in 15 minutes. We had a private room with our own bathroom and it was very clean and spacious enough. We did not have breakfast, but used the breakfast room on the roof level in the early morning to do some work on our laptops and the staff was super friendly.

There was a smell of fried food in our room, I don’t know where it was coming from. It was not very pleasant, but we could ignore it. If I would change one thing about the room: it really would be helpful if there would’ve been some hooks on the wall to hang your coats. There’s no need to have a proper wardrobe, just some place where you can put your coat would’ve been great. We always had to hang them on the chairs and when they were wet, that was not a good solution. So please get some hooks for the wall!
