Het was een heel knus huisje met alles erop en eraan. Bedden waren opgemaakt en er lagen badlakens.

Mooie rustige locatie. Op korte afstand van Brugge, diverse kleinere stadjes en de kust. Goed centraal gelegen dus. Heel gemakkelijk te bereiken ook.

Het koffiezetapparaat dat er stond is echt niet meer van deze tijd. Het aantal koffiefilters was mondjesmaat en de gemalen koffie die er stond was oud. Beter een machine plaatsen met koffiepads of cups voor heerlijke koffie per kopje. Er waren geen handdoekhaakjes direct naast de douche of een verplaatsbaar handdoekenrek. Heel onhandig. De elektriciteit apart betalen vonden we er over. Nog nooit meegemaakt. Ga je er even tussenuit, moet je daar ook nog nutskosten betalen. De gasten moeten boeten omdat eerdere gasten de sauna heel lang hadden gebruikt. Haal die sauna dan weg of bedenk een andere oplossing. Ook maar 1 rol toiletpapier in de toiletten, we moesten direct extra halen. En een nieuw pak koffie.

The house is situated in the middle of the fields, as the name already indicates. At night it is very quiet, as we hoped. The owners live right next door and were there to explain everything. They also took care of a little welcome with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. It's a small but very cozy house that offers all comfort and really is well equipped, especially important for the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, with good mattresses, so we slept really good.

Nothing really, except that the floor of the bedrooms upstairs cracks a bit when you get out.

This was our first time in Belgium and we landed on our feet staying with this super friendly and welcoming family. This immaculately presented family home exceeded our expectations. Ideally located between Brugge and Ypres, surrounded by open countryside, it makes for a great place to start and finish your day. The house has been put together with great care and attention to detail and finished to a very high specification. The beds were amazing and it was nice to have the air conditioning during one particularly hot day. The outdoor social, dining and recreational areas, help to give this property its 10/10 rating. We really enjoyed our day trips to Brugge (Parking Oesterparking - short walk to centre) and Ypres. Highly recommended, please don't hesitate.
