Great location. Right on the beach and easy access to good snorkelling, swimming etc.
There is a yoga retreat place just up the hill where I did classes each day.
Very friendly, helpful staff.
Good food in restaurant. Daily breakfast was very good.
Room is basic but adequate.
No jug in room but a thermos of hot water is delivered each morning and staff more than happy to refill at any time.
Water pressure in my room was not great.

Loved the detail of the fresh little perfumed flowers on the bed and around the room. The staff were very flexible accepting to prepare me a boxed breakfast (arranged delightfully) and left me a tray with hot water and tea, so I could have it after the 8:30-10 yoga class at nearby shala.
Was in a groundfloor room is right by the stairs and pathway that everybody needs to take to access the hotel, so heard the steps of people and you kept curtains closed all the time, though it means being in a rather dark room, considering price-quality it's alright.
I went snorkeling to see the amazing reef in front of the hotel, but was heartbroken to see fish trying to bite onto tiny bits of plastic, I picked up as much as I could but something needs to be done and a larger scale to preserve such beautiful sea life.

We had room number 1 . Nestled down at the front of the property with a lovely day bed outside the room and ocean views. The bed was comfortable and the little extras such as the, hot thermos and tea/coffee on your verandah in the morning , large water bottle dispenser, dresser and outdoor shower and toilet made it feel like the old years of travelling in Bali. The staff also so lovely.
I would definitely recommend this place if you’re on a budget and want something to suit.
There’s a large restaurant close by who have music playing till about 9 pm, 3 nights a week; that could be disturbing if you are in the back rooms of the property. But the music is folky and fun to listen to!

On Jemeluk beach, so perfect location for snorkeling. The breakfast is ok and the staff is nice. We stayed 2 nights. It’s was ok.
Low season, so the place was full of works. It was not dirty, but not too clean as well. The location is good for going to snorkel, but not too much for going to other places. A bit noisy due to the traffic in the evening, but it stops during the night.
