Guesthouse "Gjin Thana"

The place was clean, spacious and great location. The hosts were fantastic and really did everything to make our stay memorable. Food was also sensational

The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed the conversation with the two at the table next to us. We also enjoyed the picturesque view of the grape arbors and flowers, etc. We also loved all the fruit trees around the property and seeing the older generation tending his still to make raki out of Cornelian cherries. The owner's last name is the same as the Albanian name for this fruit Thanë. It is a multigenerational business which allows the family to continue to live where they grew up and for the next generation to have this rural upbringing. Our room was attractive and very clean.

The "air conditioner" which sadly, was needed for comfort because the weather was so hot, did not have any way to exhaust the hot air. It cooled the air, but because it was a free-standing, in-room apparatus, it could not really cool like a normal AC does. That meant we were a bit hotter than we would have liked.

The view from Guesthouse Gjin Thana are amazing - from the rooms, the dining area and the garden. The breakfast and meals were also excellent. It is an 10 minute walk along a dirt road from the bus drop-off area, so a little difficult if you have a suitcase, but the view is worth it. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Owners were friendly. Nice view .cute small garden.

Tiny room with tinier bathroom ( no shower walls, had to close bathroom door to shower because spray went everywhere). Bed was a mattress on the floor. One small window in the room. Lucky we didn't have luggage as we would not have been able to get it up the steps. It seems 2 couples own/run the inn. They have 3 small children between them so there can be a lot of screaming, crying, yelling when one is trying to relax in the garden or at dinner.
