Highly recommend staying here. On arrival we received a friendly welcoming by Tiff who also checked us in which too was good, quick and everything we needed to know was explained - all round fantastic customer service by her. Apologies for not getting their names but the lad who was working at the night time and the lass on breakfast both also had fantastic customer service skills too. We had an evening meal and breakfast, good, quality food and portion sizes. It was a chilled night away for both of us and we would definitely stay again. Thank you
Two minor things from a housekeeping point of view. Making sure the kettle is emptied of water for a new guest arriving and the tv remote could do with replacing as the lettering had faded so finding the guide etc was guess work.

Room was cleaned and beds comfortable. Food was very nice.
On Friday the had a band playing until 11pm. We needed an early night as me an my daughter were taking part of the Three Peaks challenge and had to be up at 4am. Couldn't go to sleep until the band finished. Then when falling asleep an horrible noise came from the bathroom. It was the pipes li ked to the radiator. Same noise again around 3am, woke me up and couldn't go to sleep again. Had 3 hours sleep before taking part on 11 hours hiking challenge. It was frustrating and impacted my performance on the challange. .
