Aidana Plaza Hotel

The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance to the center. Proximity to restaurants and cafe. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and courteous. Locations such as Abay Park, Arbat are well within the walking distance.

Overall, the stay was comfortable; however, there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the guest experience. The Wi-Fi speed could be significantly improved, as the current connection is often slow and unreliable. During breakfast, only flavored yogurt was available. Offering plain yogurt as an additional option would cater to a wider range of guest preferences. The variety of bread served at breakfast is quite limited. Including options such as brown bread (Borodinsky bread) and local bread varieties would provide greater choice. Egg station for omlettes would be an improvement. Swivel Mirror for shaving in the bathroom with lighting. The room would benefit from a foldable clothes rack to allow guests to conveniently dry or organize their clothing. The hotel restaurant currently offers only European cuisine. In addition, the menu prices are relatively high, which may contribute to the low demand for the restaurant. It would be beneficial to expand the menu to include Central Asian and local dishes, which are likely to appeal to a broader customer base and enhance the dining experience for guests. These improvements would help make the hotel more accommodating and attractive to both local and international visitors.

Very comfortable room (fantastic bed) and great breakfast.

Location. Nice. Pretty decent breakfast!

The hotel was very nice and clean, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and especially the bathroom was great. Also the breakfast was very generous and tasty, and the hotel is in a good location, within walking distance from one of the major parks in Shymkent and some good restaurants.

While we don't have anything to complain about the room, we were disappointed that the hotel had no gym, despite advertising on its website that it offers a fitness room and a sauna to its guest. When we wanted to use it, we learnt that the gym has been closed for half a year! For this reason we give a lower rating.
