Remote and close to the beach
The main room had some odd design issues, such as kitchen table too big for space allocated and nowhere to put suitcases. The bathroom was nice.

Loved how it had everything you needed for an overnight stay. Everything was very clean and neat, beautiful view of the sheep too.

Only show in town
Owner was weirdly hostile / defensive / rude. In the wrong business.
Room had an odor and was too hot (AC didn't work and was super loud + sand flies get in through the screen so couldn't really keep the window open despite the screen). Did the trick for 1 night passing through but regretted not just going straight through to Wanaka.
Note that the WIFI is unreliable AND there is NO CELL SERVICE at the location (we both had local SIM cards)
