Lovely old building full of character, fantastically friendly staff, the owners are superb, the room was beautiful and comfy, fabulous beer garden to sit in, the breakfast was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely reccomend a stay!
We didn't have mugs in our room for tea and coffee, but that's forgivable!

We loved our stay at the Hood Arms! The rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were really friendly and accommodating and the food was great! Would definitely stay again.

Hospitality and the food. Wonderful family run pub who will go above and beyond to make your stay a good one.

Location for work (HPC) it wasn't far in all honesty, but there are closer locations.

Friendly, welcoming , log burning stoves, cheerfully decorated for Christmas , good food ( whole baked mackerel especially) and beers - both locally sourced, cosy bedrooms and spotless shower rooms. Lovely stroll down the lane to the beach. We were very impressed.

Room ok but noisy from traffic as on busy through road.

Beautiful old inn with wonderful food, really lovely helpful staff and pretty garden area.

Breakfast menu gave a good choice of cereals and cooked . We didn't feel rushed. The tables were well spaced apart and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly.
We had two or three steps up once inside the bedroom. That led to a slight concern regarding safety when using the bathroom at night without lighting. We would have preferred a room on the level.

Welcoming host and all staff.Excellent spacious room with modern decor yet country inn ambience. Very large bathroom with an excellent walk in shower.

Very attractive country pub nicely furnished and very cost. The owner was friendly and very helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

Room was a good size with modern furnishings in good taste and a very comfy bed.
Our evening meal was delicious as was breakfast and more than you could want.
All the staff were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive.
Ask for a room at the rear of the property if you can - the road at the front is very busy and traffic noise spoiled what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.
