The hotel and especially the grounds, gardens and infinity pool overlooking the mountains - this place is magical. The bungalows also were beautiful and generously spaced away from each other with gorgeous views from the lovely balcony

The pool area was lovely, with amazing views of the mountains. The restaurant was also very nice and cosy, with the same beautiful views. Our room was an independent cabin, which was lovely architecturally, with a little outdoor porch where we could enjoy some time outside.
The room could have been a little cosier and more thoughtfully decorated to match how lovely the other areas of the hotel are. A little more artificial lighting in the bathroom would also be helpful to make the space more functional.

Chill Ville is a real gem. The rooms were beautiful, clean and private with incredible views. Wonderful restaurant with a wide breakfast spread of Sri Lankan and western food and great options for dinner too. The staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a very peaceful location just 10 minutes outside of Ella.

Beautiful seperate building for bedroom. Great view from dining area.
Very expensive. Small pool. Below average breakfast. No drinking glasses in the room. Long way from town. Property needs maintenance eg. Pool shower area and dining room roof
