The bed. Way too hard and so uncomfortable. Had to see the osteo after that trip.

Great little cottage in a perfect location for exploring Daylesford and the many restaurants in the region. Nice quiet spot, with good, clean facilities inside. Really pretty little garden.

The bed is like concrete. We’re used to firm but that mattress is just painful to sleep on. Outdoor furniture, blankets and decks were putrid. Such a shame because they look so inviting, but I had to clean everything down before we could sit anywhere. No extras like you normally get in this area - tiny little UHT milk in the fridge for a 4day stay. Enough for 1 cup of coffee each. You need to take all your own supplies, even bread and butter. I know that shouldn’t be an expectation but it’s common practice with many other weekend cottages in the region.

Hard bed

Location was very good. Short walk to the lake although a bit steep on the return for us. Others might not have this issue though. But everything was in short distance by car. A lot of eating options. A lot of sightseeing. An extra night or two would have been good.

The bed was too firm. We take an overlay anyway but this was not enough this time. I had to use the doonahs for extra comfort under it. A softer bed should be considered. Otherwise it would be a 10.

Had everything we needed and more. Beautifully decorated, clean, such a lovely first impression with the air con on for us and soft music playing on arrival - just lovely !

little bit of trouble with the tv reception but it didn’t affect our stay at all just FYI.

Terrific location - easy walk to the lake and main street, great store around the corner, lovely outlook from the cottage. Warm and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches such as the fire being on when we arrived, snacks and cut flowers.

Instructions to find the property could be clearer.

Fantastic cottage, heaps of little extras that make your stay extra comfortable. Short walk to Lake Daylesford and all the restaurants and shops on Vincent Street. Will definitely be back!

it was well equipped with all the modern conveniences one could want ,& in a beautiful single cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens and Private courtyard . we loved all the different locations for outdoor seating for couples . would definitely want to come back & stay again !:)

only thing was , we couldn’t seem to get the Wi-Fi connected to use the smart tv . luckily we brought our own DVD player and DVD’s with us so we could watch movies . mabey a DVD player and some old dvds could be provided at the property for guests. everything was fantastic :)

Bed is very firm Couch not very comfortable

Everything was amazing, soo many little extras that we weren’t expecting. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed at and will 100% be staying again at our next visit to Daylesford.

The bed was a little hard at first, but honestly by the second night we didn’t even notice!

Loved the cottage and the location. Was very close to everything. Absolutely beautiful cottage and so many little spots to sit with a cuppa or wine and just enjoy the serenity. Loved, loved, loved it!! So many little extras that you would not expect, but was so nice to have. The juice, fresh fruit, coffee bags which is the only coffee I drink at home! Extra pantry items. So thoughtful. Spa was lovely and everything supplied.

The bed was very hard, that is the only thing that was negative.

Fantastic “extras” supplied for us. I forgot a toothbrush and was pleasantly surprised to see there was two there for guests !

The location was quiet but close enough to the main street. The accommodation was clean, modern, comfortable and we were well catered for. The garden surrounds were beautiful an relaxing.

The bed was way too firm for us. Lighting directly above the vanity and mirror in the bathroom would be helpful.

Lovely little cottage with lots of seating areas within and outside. It was very cosy, comfortable and clean. Definitely felt like we were in a little pocket of nature! Loved the little touches with the snacks and basic items in the fridge and cupboards which was much appreciated!

The cottage was lovely and very well presented.
