I made a reservation in this hostel, but when I arrived nobody opened the door for me so I kept calling on the phone that appears on the property details but nobody replied. I had to stay outside while it was raining for a long time. It was getting later and rainier so I had to search for a new place to stay for tonight. It was a horrible experience. I contacted the property via the Booking app and they didn't reply to my messages either. This is the first time that something like this happens to me :-(

Great family rooms in hostel with kitchen and breakfast available. Good location, walking distance from supermarket with secure motorbike parking.

Talca is a "real" Chilean town with not a lot of tourist, which we enjoyed! Hostel Casa Azul was a little off the main plaza and we were given a large room and access to the kitchen ( no other guests were there). Close to Diagonal Street with restaurants and even a trendy cerveceria.

Nothing against the hostal, but fyi the nearby wineries are not easy to access by public transportation and closed on Sunday.

Showers were hot, room was large and staff very friendly. Great breakfast
