The blinds were too light needs darker curtain. Shower needs more privacy.

free coffee and bottled mineral water...I arrived at seven in the morning after a dreadful bus ride from Quito that took16 hours and they gave me a room with only a one day charge...very attentive staff

It was clean, hot shower and nice stuff. Also there were water for refill, tea, coffee downstairs so it’s very convenient, thanks!
a little bit noisy because of the street nearby. So I needed to sleep with my earplugs. And the double bed was kind of small for two people but actually it’s spread situation here in Ecuador)

Female clerk in afternoon was pleasant.
The room did not have a city view as promised in the booking. Told that I would have to pay more if I wanted to see the city lights.
Also, extremely small room. Not at all like what was shown in the picture.
Felt it was a classic, "Bait and Switch," situation. I was rushed for time when I checked in as we had a concert to attend, otherwise, I never would have stayed there. Felt ripped off!

Great location, fantastic staff, very comfortable beds.
It takes longer than one might think for the hot water to come through in the shower.

It's an older building, not far from the historic Puerta de Loja. It's on a fairly busy street, 2 blocks off University Avenue. Still, at night, everything quiets down nicely. I found all I needed nearby: restaurants, small stores, lavaderia (clothes washing) and some nice walking areas.
Well, to get into the room, the entryway is raised about 8": step up- step down. The bathroom is also raised and a quirk is that instead of an exhaust fan, there is a high widow wall that seems to open to a common vent. The neighbor's light and sounds shared through this wall.
