Umah Watu Villas

Excellent experience at Taman Toya, part of the Taman Toya-Umah Watu compound. We booked villa 2 entirely to ourselves and could enjoy the very ample space and privacy. The home assistant, Anna, comes daily and is very engaging and obliging. She’s happy to immediately attend every request. The pool is longer than may seem in the pictures and quite deep and, unusual for Bali, the water does not feel cold. The ground floor has the pool courtyard, open living area and large kitchen, plus bathroom with shower and is equipped with ceiling fans. Upstairs is the very large bedroom with walk-in garderobe and outdoor bathroom (with views to the surrounding tropical palm trees of Seminyak). The bedroom AC works very well. When you first arrive you may feel it’s a bit off the beaten track as you need to go through very narrow alleys to get there, but the fact is that it’s actually quite central, just over 5 min walk from the pretty Sunset Beach and 14 min walk from busy lanes like Jalan Camplung Tanduk. Tonno, the villa manager, was on top of everything and made sure that everything was taken care of. He even drove us to the airport upon check out, so we couldn’t ask for more. We had a very nice time there and hope to return when circumstances allow.

Beautiful, spacious villa. Perfect for a whole family to stay. We had a family of 6 and booked all 3 rooms allowing us to have sole access to all facilities and the privacy we like. Staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay a positive one.

the water from the sink stinks the bathroom was outside and not in a nice way, it was extremely hot from the AC it was overpriced for the way it looked(quite old)
