The view from our balcony was amazing! It was worth every step!

The parking instructions and access to the property was vague. More details would be ideal given the difficulty of access with luggage.

The views from the room were amazing and the patio area was roomy and comfortable. Daily breakfast was more than any of us could eat and it was delicious!

we did not like that the directions didn’t not give details to get to the hotel directly from the train station. there are a few different ways to go and it would be important for the hotel to be specific especially for wheeling suitcases. we thought the cost of breakfast was high for what we got. the 90 euro vip bronze package was way over priced.

Would have enjoyed more coffee pods each day. Would have enjoyed insider information about the restaurants and “local” favorites in the area in advance of arrival.

We really enjoyed the stay in the area and used it as a springboard out to the other Villages along the trail. The view from our room was a "taste" of the excellent coastline we would visit. There was also many great restaurants nearby and we enjoyed some of the best food. The room was small but adequate.

The view from our room was detracted due to the overgrown and crumbling courtyard outside and the access up the stairs to the room was very difficult due to the narrow width and steep stairway and we were not prepared for the steep climb up the hill to the accommodation. We did not have any "face to face" contact with anyone for the whole time as all connection was done via App. The room was poorly configured and with both our medium sized luggage bags it became very tight to move around.

We loved this room. It was fabulous. The balcony was huge and had the most beautiful view. The room was very clean and had an amazing bathtub and shower. A very romantic setting and perfect for our special getaway. They provided a delicious healthy breakfast that was more than anyone could eat and served on the balcony. The host was very responsive and provided all the details we needed.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like about this room. Maybe the difficulty getting there since it is on top of the town but they provided names of luggage service people to help bring our luggage to the room. The view was worth the climb.

The room was decorated very nice , the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great , however the shower was tiny.

Since this property is located at the very top of the hill side tons and tons of steps, I was excited about our terrace view for sunset , because that is the first line in the property description, and all the pics in the beginning The terrace is only for the honeymoon suite. Very Dissatisfied

Fridge(on wall) not powerful & too small. WiFi didn't work throughout 4 night stay. Had to help others who didn't have WhatsApp

location with spectacular views above the harbor; modern decor and humongous breakfast; the stairs/steps are your daily workout as this is vertical living

parking could have been explained better; there is nothing private available; public is fine but does require quite a walk with any luggage so be prepared

well, let’s just say that Edmond Hillary didn’t climb up as high as we did to get to this place. if arriving by car it’s right there. arriving by train with lots of luggage is no fun in the sun. add to that lots of stairs and tight alleyways and it’s not much fun at all

Fantastic location in one of the most beautiful villages in Europe. The 180 views from the large windows, and of course, the terrace, are breathtaking. The room is very comfortable, and the breakfast, incredible.

Very pleased with my choice. The room was lovely, very comfortable, with excellent Wi-Fi and relatively easy to get to.

I could hear the people in the next apartment. Most of the photos shown for this more basic room, were actually from the other two rooms, which had true sea views. I did not have a view of anything except a supply shed in a garden area, but if I put my head outside my windows, I could see the sea. There was no bathrobe in my room.

The room was upper-scale with extra comfy pillows and nice little touches like an Ipad and shoe polishing sponge.

We thought we would have a view or access to a terrace but you could only see the water if you leaned out the bedroom window.

We were woken up by the cleaner at 7am who was cleaning the room next door. Bit of a shame they decided to clean so early and wake other guests up. The property is about 15 min walk from the parking and you go up approx. 50 steps total so beware with big bags that is a little tricky, although worth it for the view ! Booking.com also misrepresented what we had booked as we thought we had a terrace with beds not just a balcony, but still very nice.

The view from the patio might be the best view in all of Manarola. The entry process is very straightforward and easy. The bed is comfy with quality sheets/comforter and the jacuzzi tub is a bonus.

Pack light bc under NO circumstance should you try to carry heavy luggage up the stairs of both the town and the apartment to your room. Carrying two large suitcases almost ruined the stay before we'd even arrived to the unit. There is a local porter for Manarola who we wish we'd connected with before arrival. ALSO, the AC isn't strong enough to keep the room cool during the day. ALSO, we wish there was a umbrella for the patio bc it's awfully sunny/hot during the day (which is quite long in the summer time).

The room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was served to the room and it was delicious and there was a good variety of fruits and pastries. Nespresso machine and milk foamer were nice touches. Bed was really comfortable.

The view from the room was mostly to a trashy backyard with only a little bit of sea view. We did not expect this at all from the photos. The room was not soundproof, as we woke up to the noises from the corridor. The bathroom was lacking on some toiletry products, like hair conditioner and for example we were only provided two cotton swabs. The room was equipped with blue led light controls that were so bright during the night, that disturbed our sleep.

The overall description of the house is so great that expectations are increased and pricing follows the standard they strive for. The room without the terrace or balcony is not good value for money and simply not worth it. As an example if lack of service attitude, there is a coffe machine but the impersonal service and stingy stocking means you have to go to a store and buy coffe to the room. We spent five nights in all the 5 towns and experienced generous and excellent service in all places but this.

no access by car. no hotel reception area, because it isn’t a hotel. it’s an apartment. be prepared to hire a porter service(call ahead if possible to book) from the parking lot about 400m away, especially if you’ve got baggage from an international flight.

Beautiful room. This is a building of private rentals, but has a floor of 3 rooms for The First. Its up a big hill/steps at the top of Manarola, but so many other places are as well. Its worth the walk up. The apartment is lovely. Big bed, beautiful bathroom with lovely big shower. Nespresso machine, and an amazing breakfast brought to your room. FABULOUS. There was a recommendation for a restaurant in the room, which we went to on the evening.
