It was very clean & staff very helpful, they allowed us an earlier check in at no extra charge & a staff member kindly took my luggage to the room
Parking was limited but managed to get a spot, a bonus

The place was spotlessly clean
It didn't feel.like a hotel. It was like a care home.

it was one of the last available in the area
no-one on reception to greet me, only 2 staff who were serving the evening meal. I was belatedly told that I should’ve pre booked a breakfast, so went hungry the next morning! I was told that as a charity hotel they were short staffed. This hotel is really more focussed on elderly guests. I also grazed my knuckles on the badly positioned front door knob!

Staff were lovely and helpful. Nothing in room to tell you what time breakfast started from and we had to be away early before 8.30 so they rustled us up some tea and toast.

The hotel was a beautiful old building with some lovely features. It was a great room with power shower. The staff were amazing, allowing us to check in early to get ready for a wedding and they were so polite and nice.

The staff led by Tracey were friendly and efficient and Tracey went the Extra mile for us. The hotel was comfortable, impeccably clean
And the breakfast was excellent. The best English breakfast We have had in years! We would certainly return.

The Staff very helpful, The Chef in the morning made time to visit every table not just to check the quality of food was okay (and it sure was) but to have a chat about other things, he also took the time to know my name before hand, nice touch.

Everywhere was very clean and in good decorative order. We received a friendly welcome. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was very nice.

Amazing staff, Easy to talk to and a really good attitude. Room was spotless and had a great view. The bed was comfy and I had no problems sleeping.
I had two minor issues. The room I stayed in only had one plug socket, so I had to unplug the TV every time I wanted to charge my phone. As well as after getting back from Liverpool late one night I had to wait outside a little bit before I got let in the hotel.

The hotel is a grade 2 listed building. It’s a lovely place.
The triple room has a hot water pipe running through it, this is really hot. The window doesn’t open wide enough to cool the room.
