Lovely cottages in a beautiful location. Everything was great and our family love spending time here.

The farm is composed of a few similar houses, some seem renovated some don’t. They are spacious and equipped to accommodate a family. The kids had a lovely time with the animals and we were close enough to town to enjoy the pubs/restaurants options. We climbed the diamond of course!
After a few hiccups for checking in, we were given one of the houses that was not renovated, so thankfully it wasn’t raining. The kitchen was very randomly equipped and the dishwasher was weird but we expected as much on a farm. Since there is a washer but no dryer, or clothesline, how are guests expected to dry the laundry?

The house was huge. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect. It was less than 5 minute walk to Letterfrack where there are a few restaurants, a pub, grocery store and hardware store. Less than 5 minute drive to Connemara National Park. The pigs were very friendly. My granddaughter took her blanket out and layed next to one of them for a snooze!
The cottage is a bit dated, but not surprising given the age and authenticity of the surroundings

The animals on the grounds were lovely. The house was also big and detached, located just near Connemara National Park.
Almost everything was in need of replacement, though it was clean. The animals were mostly kept behind fences. You cannot get near the horses or the stable shown in the photos due to a fence and a 'no entry' sign. We never saw the hostess, and her responses to messages were poor and abrupt. Much more effort needs to be put into Letterfrack Farm to make the stay appealing. It has so much potential.
