Elegant apartment near the city center
L'appartamento è situato proprio sul fianco dell'Abbazia di S. Zeno, la più importante chiesa romanica di Verona, e dalle finestre del soggiorno si può godere della magnifica vista sul giardino e sulla chiesa. A dieci minuti di cammino a piedi, lungo il fiume Adige, si raggiunge Castel Vecchio e l'Arena, centro storico della città.
L'appartamento signorile ha finiture di pregio, è formato da una camera matrimoniale, una singola con possibilità di 2 letti, e 2 bagni completi di doccia, lavabo, wc e bidet. In un bagno si trova anche la lavatrice.
Il quartiere di S. Zeno è storico, ma di tendenza; in piazza si trovano pizzerie e locali tipici dove gustare le specialità gastronomiche veronesi, e assaggiare vini della Valpolicella.
Con l'automobile si può raggiungere facilmente in mezz'ora il Lago di Garda; la stazione ferroviaria dista 20 minuti a piedi o 10 minuti con l'autobus (la fermata è proprio sotto casa).

Our stay was unfortunately cut short by a death in the family. The apartment, location and support from the owners was all wonderful. The apartment is large, clean, well outfitted and in a lovely quiet but fun neighborhood. We were very happy to be out of the main more touristy areas. I wish we could have stayed for the whole time we had planned.

The apartment is exactly as described with everything you might need. The view over the San Zeno grounds was captivating and our days were regulated by the bells waking us, reminding us of the time and calling the faithful to church.The no 31 bus service was put to good use with the Verona bus app and we enjoyed many of the local eateries, cafes and bars around piazza Corrubio and San Zeno.Communication with Federica was easy and she was very responsive. She helped with suggesting where I might buy specific Italian items I was looking for and gave us advance warning of an antiques fair in p. Corrubio (first Sunday each month).If we're ever back in Verona we would be checking availability here first so have no hesitation in recommending.Thank you Federica for the opportunity to stay at your elegant and wonderful apartment.

Splendid flat with incredibly privileged and transporting views from the living room. Elegant, impeccable and quiet. Just around the corner, one can enjoy fabulous pizza al taglio, wonderful patisserie and coffee and delicious gelato. Supermarket only at a 5 minutes walk.Only a short walk away from the river promenade that takes you to the centre of Verona and easy access to the motorway to explore the region.Thank you so much, Federica, for your care and kindness! We very much hope we'll come back for another perfect holiday.

Not much I can add to all the 5 star reviews already given to this apartment. It truly is a little jewel. A lovely and calm place to return to after super days in Verona.The church of St. Zeno is a wonderful backdrop for the flat. We can not state enough how well this apartment is placed.Close to, but few minutes away from the favoured tourist hotspots. Almost next door is a Piazza full of restaurants,- mostly frequented by "locals" -that will serve people well for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if that is required. We wish to thank Federica, Riccardo and Paulo for their care and help. We had a super time.Best wishesAnne Chapman
