Location was perfect, just outside of Whitby so nice and quiet. The cottage was dog friendly which was great and there was even a small grass patch for dogs that was ‘dog proof’.

Everything about it even the dark lanes at night' very spooky ? Lol
There was no problem at all. Experience yourself to find out ?

Very quiet location, easy parking. Village shop only 1 mile (by car). Cottage was thoughtfully decorated, well equipped with everything we needed & very clean. Beautiful, comfy big bed. Easy access to property with welcoming host. Very close to Robin Hood's Bay & a short drive to the N.Yorks moors (although the immediate area was out of bounds due to recent fire damage). Local pub (Fylingdales Inn) did excellent food!
Exterior photos of view on Booking.com are a bit misleading as there is no view of the sea from the cottage.
No alternative duvet in the property (which has been provided in other properties) - the one supplied was lovely but too warm for the time of year in a centrally heated cottage.
Temperature in the shower was a bit variable once or twice.
