The host was great, really responsive, and the house itself was lovely. The cottage felt spacious, it worked well for us 3 adults & baby, the kitchen was well-equipped, the garden was nice to sit in when sunny, generally a really gorgeous stay. And the local village is really sweet.
The cottage just felt a bit dark, as it's a long terrace with few windows, so when the weather was cloudy instead of summery it was a bit claustrophobic to stay indoors. Having said that, it was very comfortable indoors so I imagine it'd be cosy in winter.
