very little other than the double bed was comfortable

the apartment was tired and in need of updating. the fridge/freezer and washing machine were rusty. the Crockery needed to be put through the dishwasher. the bathroom was mouldy and dirty. there was no extracted fan in it and the floor was very worn. there was no running water when we arrived and the owner advised us to wait 2 hours and see. if no water then ting her. no effort was made to accommodate us after travelling and waiting to get it for a long time. the furniture is old and covered with loose fabric. the apartment needs a thorough clean and upgrade. there are 20 stairs to the apartment with no handrails. we asked for a full refund and have been given the equivalent of 1 nights stay. we moved out after the second night. booking.com have been useless in resolving the issue of a refund despite us having to pay for another accommodation.

Everything. Well equipped, beds comfortable, very clean, lovely host, beautiful view, lovely pool, lovely beaches, sunset viewing over the ocean nearby, interesting hiking routes nearby, close to walk to the center, strong wifi and free parking.

Nothing. However a few mosquitoes at night with open windows. Plug in repellant and good fans available to help with this.

The location was excellent, views beautiful, walking distance to town centre & also shop, restaurant on the doorstep. Beds extremely comfy & could sit on the balcony all day 😎

Great location for the beach and restaurants in Carvoeiro, which is our favourite European resort. Beds were the most comfortable compared with many previous trips to the area.

Some plumbing work is needed to fix a small leak in the toilet, but we were told about this on our arrival.

Fab location , supermarket with cafe literally across the road . 10 min walk into centre of Carvoeiro

Didn’t appear to be a kettle

Fab location with great amenities a stone throw away. The private swimming pool is literally across a small road and can be seen from the window. Only residents have access to the pool and a key is provided for the gate. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Lots of natural light and spectacular views of the sea. The beds were so comfortable too! There is a small beach only 5 mins walk away and it's lovely. The walk to Carvoeiro takes less than 10mins and then you have access to even more amenities and the main beach. Valentina was great and made us feel very welcome. She has a lovely little apartment.

Only minor complaint, the pool was freezing, but we did go in October.

The apartment was a good size for 4 people and it had everything you could need. The location was fab; 10 minutes walk from the centre but very quiet day and night. The sea view was lovely. The beds were comfy. The nearby supermarket and restaurants gave us everything we needed on foot.

We found it difficult to cook - there were no pots or trays to use in the oven which was a shame as the local market provided all the ingredients gor a good meal, if you wanted to make your own.

Great and very calm Location with very friendly hosts. They gave us a guest present (red wine and water) .Everything is very clean and well equipped. There is a common Pool for guests around from 4-5 other Apartments. Nice spot for a little Talk. Valentina and her husband were very kindly and helpfull with advices and tipps. The Location is very calm but only 5-10 minutes walk to the beaches. Very nearby is a pizzeria and a small supermarket. There are unbelievable views to the great coast, a lot of activities and cultural sights in and around Carvoeiro.
