Sana and his family are wonderful hosts. We slept just 30 seconds from the beach, which was pure magic. They also run a great beachfront restaurant, and we ended up eating all our meals there: highly recommend the curry and the arrack sour 😉
The accommodation is very simple, but it ticks all the right boxes and feels just right for the place.
We were 2 adults and 3 kids (including a baby) for a full week!
Mawella is a real hidden gem, with very few tourists. The beach is huge and beautiful, dotted with fishermen and shells: peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable.

Nichts. :-)

"The room was spacious with a nice big balcony. The property was well kept and less than a minute to the beach, which you could see from the balcony. Lots of birds and animals in the trees. The beach ..."
