We had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. The house is beautiful, full of character, spotless, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family holiday. The garden is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring the Loire Valley castles, Beauval Zoo, and the surrounding villages. We truly enjoyed our stay and are already hoping to come back, perhaps this autumn or next year. We would be delighted to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here — the cottage itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and perfectly equipped. It’s in a great location, , and exactly what we were looking for.

However, we were very disappointed that the owner tried to charge us an extra €70 cleaning fee half way through our stay , which hadn’t been mentioned or included in the original booking price. It came as a complete surprise and felt unfair, especially as we always leave accommodation tidy and respectful. It really did take the shine off what was otherwise a lovely trip. we did check with Booking.com and they advise us not to pay this. that this was not included in the listing and it should never have been requested. I would advise to double-check all fees upfront double bed a little bit small and pillows very uncomfortable
