Bean bags around pool were overfilled so you couldn’t sit on them

Location is amazing, spacious rooms. Many steps to lobby and then rooms but staff happy to help carry the luggage when asked.

Really bad smell on the lower level, from the bathroom and drains, we did ask for additional bleach to be added to drains and loo but still smelling bad unfortunately.

We stayed at Marc Hotel Gili Trawangan for 6 nights with our family and had a really nice stay. We were especially happy that the hotel was able to accommodate our request to move our rooms to make things easier for my elderly mother. The staff were all so kind, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. They really made the hotel feel warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Mr. Miftah, the F&B Manager, who was always there during breakfast to make sure everything was taken care of the way we wanted. He was so friendly with our family and would chat with us like we had known him for years. We really appreciated his kindness and hospitality. The location is also great, close to the harbour and surrounded by lots of restaurants. But our favorite was Sasak Restaurant, right in front of the hotel. The home band was SO good and entertaining! Definitely check them out if you're staying in Gili Trawangan. Overall, we had a memorable family stay and really appreciate all the staff who made us feel so welcome.

The biggest downside for us was the access to the hotel. The stairs leading up to the hotel aren't very elderly friendly, and getting up there can be quite a workout, especially with luggage. Since we were traveling with my elderly mother, this was a bit challenging for us. Thankfully, the staff were always very helpful and willing to assist, which made things much easier. Other than the stairs and accessibility, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated how helpful and welcoming the staff were.
