Iberostar Waves Slavija

Staff super friendly and helpful when asked questions about the area. They even helped us book tennis courts in the club opposite. Short walk to the old town in Budva. Swimming pool is amazing on the roof but you also have access to iberostar beach ~15 min walk away. The room was enormous, gorgeous bathroom and always cleaned. Bonus they give you free filtered water! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, they allow you to order eggs as well as take from the buffet, and have a coffee barista instead of the usual machine. The options for lunch and dinner at their rooftop restaurant were also great if you don’t want to venture out. We also booked a hammam experience which was absolutely amazing. Access to a good little gym too, you don’t need to leave the hotel!

The only thing I can grumble at is that you have to pay €10/day for parking - a bit cheeky for a 5* hotel!

As soon as we entered the hotel we were impressed. Looked luxurious and we were provided with a glass of complementary champagne whilst we waited for our room. The superior room was enormous, and extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were all happy and friendly and always offering their assistance. Pool area was nice, with a good restaurant & bar. Pool towels are provided. It’s in a great location, just a 10/15 min walk to all the restaurants & bars. We had use of the sister hotel’s beach, which was a good 30min walk, but well worth it.

Quality of room was substandard, air conditioning in room not working, breakfast sub-par. Although staff tried their best to make us comfortable.
