The owner was incredibly helpful in sorting out my travel arrangements and ensuring I saw the local attractions.
Wifi reception in the upper rooms was poor

A boutique hotel with a homestay atmosphere. The staff were absolutely amazing. As a senior, solo, non-Mandarin speaking traveler they made sure that I was happy and taken care of. I was able to book excursions with a personal driver with them, experience a tea ceremony and a walk around the charming village. With translation apps communication was not a problem.
The wifi was weak.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have any problems with communications by using the transportation apps.
This old hotel was renovated, but it preserved its charming and historical characters.
The location was very good. There were many restaurants near the property. Yet, our room was quiet.
I had noodles for breakfast just like the locals do. My son had toasted sandwiches. Both were very tasty 😋.
The bathroom was fully renovated and very clean. But the water wasn’t very hot. It was OK for us because the outside temperature was hot and humid.

Consigliato
