Way better than expected. The ratings don't do it justice. This place deserves better than 8/10. AC was available in the rooms for 12 hours from 21:00-09:00am. The kitchen was large, clean and well equipped and the premises was duel secured. The neighbourhood is quite bad though, so after dark it is best not to walk - this is not an exaggeration. The pool, though small, was clean and the outdoor area charming enough. WiFi was decent and there are many places to chill and socialise including workstations with outlets and a table-tennis area. The bathrooms were clean, though there is no hot water (you wouldn't need nor want it) and tours are available should such interest you. Laundry (no kg limit) was a fair $5.00. Note, there are 3 dogs and 3 cats for those with allergies or animal phobias. All-round, an excellent place to stay, 35 minutes walk from the historic district and 5 minutes walk from the large supermarket 'Rey'. Would recommend 100%.

Social and pool area, kitchen, responsive and helpful staff.
No real complaints, but there are always things that might be able to improve upon. Wifi signal was unusable in private bedroom (room 11) but fine everywhere else. If someone is travelling for work they might want to know that (working in the social area was fine by me).

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, in zona comoda vicino alla fermata della metro. Personale gentile. Atmosfera panamense nella zona limitrofa.

Очень комфортная комната для сна. И температура и кровать в целом. Давно так хорошо не высыпался. Вайфай, отличная скорость и стабильность. Расположение. Я выбирал под свои локации и места. Меня более чем устроило.
Мне всё понравилось, единственное, может быть большее разнообразие напитков баре.

Cuisine très propre et bien équipée, clim, personnel accueillant
Obligé d’attendre que quelqu’un soit a la réception pour entrer/sortir. Quartier pas génial.

Awesome mattresses, you can use all common facilities till 5pm next day, or 10pm for extra $5.

What can be improved - selection of tours. Right now there is just 4 days trip to Colombia one. You can just get contacts of several travel agencies at Panama, and charge extra $1-3 for the booking (if traveller chooses to book via you)
It was very time consuming to walk around the old city looking for tour comanies

Location wasn’t the best, was a little out of town but was only a short taxi ride to the city’s attractions.

Very spacious, aesthetically pretty, can be very social, attentive staff, very clean, and there’s always a free bathroom.
Got some food stolen from the kitchen and the neighbourhood is dangerous at night

Old school backpackers hostel. Good vibe and hippie style but with air con. I've been back 3 times and will be coming any time I'm in Panama City.

I like the peaple in Panama city. They are very smiley and try to help you. The hostel has great patio. There is a clean swimming pool and nice bar. it was very nice to be their guest.
There are not enough bathrooms for so many tourists.

Relatively cheap compared to the rest of Panama City. I also got a double bed which was great.
very very very dangerous area, when traveling in groups it’s no problem because you can split the taxi. It was recommended from San Blas Adventures after coming back from the tour, however it was almost impossible to get a towel and when arriving after 5 days of pure beaches and hardly hygiene a fresh towel is absolutely essential!!!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the pool was nice and clean.
The furniture is quite old and a bit dirty but the beds are comfortable. They have a dog that is very old and it goes everywhere. The garden unfortunately smelled like a dogs toilet.

Nice clean place. Free coffee was good. Close to bus stops. Ok it's not in the old city or the modern bit up north but it's a local area and I liked it. Easy to get anywhere. Staff very helpful. Loved the cat.

The staff was super friendly und there is a nice, clean and well equipped kitchen.
The location of the hostel really isn’t good. We had a room next to the Pool/Bar area and they played loud music the whole night!! also the cockroaches weren’t that nice..
