The host was friendly and met us earlier than our check-in time to hand us the key. The apartment was central and spacious, with lovely finishes. It was perfect for a family of four with older teenagers.

Basic things like sugar, tea, coffee, shower gel, hand wash would have been nice to have. The place doesn't have much natural light but we were out most of the time.

This was our first time to Venice. In general, I found Venice like a maze and hard to find your way unless you had GPS. Once we turned that on, we were able to find the apartment.

I would have liked a bit more tourist friendly information to be provided by the host. Some restaurant recommendations would have been very helpful as the ones we ended up choosing for ourselves were not very good. I found the beds a bit uncomfortable.
