It was a cosy cabin, with a beautiful site, went to the cafe and they were so friendly and chatty.
The bedding was too loose so struggled to sleep in the bunk bed room, toilet was too close to the towel rack and the electric meter was giving me anxiety issues but apart from that. It’s a lovely place

Host was great with communication and did try and help out. Nice view from the terrace.
Well equipped
We stayed for 2 nights over new year . When we got to the lodge it was very cold and damp so we put all the heaters on to help , after about an hour I checked the electricity which said £3 I started to panic so went and bought £10 put it in. Turned all the heaters off except one and the next day it went again so put more money in. On our last day woke up to no heating or lights ? Absolutely freezing ! Packed up and left, £15 in a day and a half ?
Beds were very hard and internet didn’t work and overall the cabin is very run down and I think a lot of it is down to the management team who I would sack. Very disappointing start to 2026
