- Downtown Manhattan (Port Authority Bus Terminal - rund 6 Gehminuten vom Times Square entfernt) ist mit dem Bus, welcher nächster Nähe des Hotels fährt, ohne Verkehr in rund 20 Minuten direkt und problemlos erreichbar. Die Kosten dafür betragen für eine Hin- und Rückfahrt rund 9 USD. Die Tickets können direkt am Automaten an der Busstation bezahlt werden (unseres Erachtens ist kein Ticketkauf im Bus möglich). - In der Nähe des Hotels befinden sich diverse Restaurantketten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Burlington, T.J. Maxx...). - Highway bei einem Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Parkplatz nur leicht hörbar. Auf der anderen Hotelseite wird der Lärm wohl einiges stärker sein... - Zimmer grosszügig und sauber - gute Lage bei einem Anflug nach Newark (EWR). Fahrt mit dem Taxi bei wenig Verkehr rund 15 Minuten)

- Deutlich von Manhattan entfernt und somit ist das NYC-Feeling, welches man bei einer Übernachtung in einem Stadthotel geniesst, nicht spürbar. Das weiss man aber, wenn man dieses Hotel bucht.

The COVID rule of cleaning our room after 2-3 days is not good . We pay for a room and being out all day with kids and coming back to a non touched room is not good . We had to ask for towels to shower. I totally understand the COVID but other hotels clean rooms every day , time for ALOFT to get with the times on that. Everything was great , facilities are good.

Noisy aircon even with fan on low

It was conveniently located next to shopping and food businesses. The room was clean and stocked with what was needed. The view from the room was great. Staff was very helpful. Netflix capabilities and TV channel selection. Pool table and arcade games was a nice feature.

The mini fridge was frozen and didn't keep anything cold, the breakfast could be served more professionally and not stuffed in a soup cup. Also, it would be a good idea to replenish the bagels and pastries. The room phone didn't work so I had to call the front desk using my cell phone. Lastly, the elevator door timer should be extended, the door kept closing on us everytime we tried to board.

The location was good; plenty of good restaurants near by. The Walmart next door was a plus. The decor of the lobby and room was nice. Great use of colors and lighting all around. It was a fun , whimsical place. Modern, but not stuffy.

The swimming pool was a bit on the small side and the sitting/smoking area in the back should be could use some insect deterrents—the mosquitoes were outrageous. Also, the concessions area need a little more variety of snacks.

I like the fact the hotel was close to everything. Walmart, restaurants and shops. being by the expressway wasn’t too bad!

The accommodations and amenities were great. Facility clean and smells great, friendly, helpful staff.

I was still in my room when room service came and they did not come back to clean.

The bathroom was very spacious. The room was clean. Cool push button control for the huge blackout shade in the room. Easy temperature control but everytime the AC kicked on the blast of ice cold air blowing directly on us was super uncomfortable.

We asked for a handicapped accessible room but there was no chair/bench for the tiny bathtub despite our asking 2 days in a row; the response was "we only have 1 and we're trying to locate it" so I had to go 4 days without a bath or shower, relying on only a washcloth. The bed was so hard it caused my entire back, neck, arms, legs to either get very stiff and achey or go into painful spasms so that I had to stay inside the room alone for our entire trip. The room was weird - lighting was very harsh, you enter the room through the bathroom sink area, I had a small shelf instead of a bedside table with drawers - so my medicines and drinks kept falling off, the TV remote was infuriating as we were unable to get cc on HBO, no desk, dresser, closet or shelves just 2- 2' cubes each with 2 drawers and a bar to hang clothes. It's right on the highway where 24 hour traffic was so loud we had to pause talking when noisy vehicles passed by and you could actually feel the heavier trucks go by (we were up on the 6th floor) and in the written list of amenities it read swimming pool - outside, but in the hotel photos it showed an indoor pool so we came unprepared. I submitted several questions and stated our needs during booking but no one ever got back to us with answers. This was the worst stay we've ever had and we'll never stay in an aloft hotel again. Shame on you, Marriott.

The location was ideal to travel easily to New York for sightseeing. We were able to walk to a local bus stop and travel quickly to NYC without delays or costly parking fees. Restaurants and Walmart retail outlet was close in the vicinity to walk.

Front desk staff was very lacking and room was kind of on the smaller side. Although the room was modernized, it lacked a certain level of privacy.

Where do I start first off I have 2 kids no people at desk when you walk in too greet you people walk in and out all hours of the night so to say I slept with something to protect my family to say ithe least people smoking weed all night long I felt like I was in the movie Hostel no joke
