La cucina è ben attrezzata e presenta un nuovo piano cottura in vetroceramica, forno, lavastoviglie, macchina da caffè e forno a microonde.
La camera da letto principale ha un materasso Queen regolabile di alta qualità con diverse opzioni di posizione controllate da un telecomando cablato in modo da poter regolare la base per adattarsi alla posizione preferita per dormire, leggere o guardare la TV. La camera da letto ha anche lenzuola lussuose e una Smart TV a schermo piatto, perfetta per rannicchiarsi davanti a un film di brezza marina dopo una dura giornata in spiaggia.

Perfect getaway in a gorgeous location, close to all main amenities of Urunga. Very comfortable, light filled and beautifully renovated cottage. We loved the decor - styled with a mix of modern and vintage to showcase the lovely original property. The hosts are very thoughtful and have been generous with all provisions - both quantity and quality, and have set up like your own home. This is a place you can truly relax- whether it is enjoying drinks on the open deck with views of the river and ocean, reading a book on the chaise lounge, or walk the nearby and easily accessible Urunga Boardwalk. Would love to stay again!

Our second stay at Driftwood Beach House and will not be our last. It is in a great position with everything in walking distance and great views out to the Boardwalk from the back deck. Communication with Rupert is excellent and you could not ask for a better place to stay for a quick break to really relax or a longer stay if you are lucky to have more time. Thanks again Rupert.

Such a brilliant location. Outside is very humble but once you enter it has such a great vibe. It’s the perfect beach shack. The kitchen and bathroom are all new and both very well stocked with all those every day things you need. It’s so beautifully lit with light all day from sunrise to sunset. Great communication throughout our stay. If you’re looking for the perfect water front beach shack this is definitely it. We will definitely be back.

In summary, w hat a great week.
We live across the road from very popular beach on the mid north coast and this was a true get away while close to everything and no noise and with our friends all in the caravan park we could come and go as we pleased!
We found the eclectic nature of the cottage refreshing , very interesting and neighbours are all very friendly and like a chat (go the Knights)!
The butcher and deli at the local supermarket had awesome produce, do yourself a favour if you are in the area and go to the butcher!
We will be back for sure!

A lovely, quirky little house, very clean, great location, within walking distance to town centre, shops, clubs, pub & board walk. Magnificent view from back of house.Host very informative & thoughtful in providing quite a large amount of pantry items, and a complimentary bottle of wine. Really enjoyed our short stay here, and are looking forward to returning soon. The most trouble I had was filling in the stayz application as it refused to accept some of my answers, which was very frustrating and very annoying!

Looking from the street you would say it's rough around the edges. Inside is quirky but very clean and functional. The back deck is the place to be with fantastic views of the mouths of the Kalang and Bellinger rivers, the boardwalk and ocean. A lovely and relaxing stay.

This delightful property was the perfect halfway stopover for us on our drive south from Brisbane to Sydney. Having spent my early years growing up in the town of Urunga I felt right at home. The property is so well prepared for guests, comfortable bed, the bathroom well catered for with towels, shampoo, soap etc and the generous gifts of pantry items and a delicious bottle of wine left for us was so appreciated. A big Thankyou to our hosts.

What a great little 1950’s beach house. The views were fabulous out to the east of the house. From the kitchen, the bedroom, and the dining/lounge area and a wonderful patio to look down on to the river and out to the ocean. There are so many windows, lots of light, beautiful sunrises and a great boardwalk along the river to the ocean. The house was so close to all amenities. The interior is subtly in keeping with the era of the house but the modern inclusions meld well. I have to mention the quirky art pieces made by the owner from a collection of pieces of metal, “stuff” and curiosities all put together from his bits and pieces of I would say, from many years of collecting. These added to my experience of the era. VERY RELAXING. Do you think I liked it RF???

Wonderful!
Since returning home I’ve been recommending Driftwood Cottage to all my friends. I literally gasped when I opened the front door and saw the views over the river and the ocean - and it turned out you can see the view from bed as well!
The cottage is comfortably furnished and very cleverly planned and equipped - lots of interesting quirky touches.
All communications with Rupert were quick, friendly and efficient, and we very much appreciated the unexpected offer of a late checkout.

Fantastic experience. The beach house is well and creatively designed, very practical, beautiful deck and views, good bed and excellent bathroom, all cooking you need, very fast wifi. We would have extended our stay if it wasn't already booked. Close to everything on foot. It will definitely be on our short list for future stays in that region.

This house was great. The renovation was imaginative, using recycled and upcycled materials to great effect. The view from the house is spectacular.

We loved staying @ Driftwood Beach house. The location is perfect. close to shops and easy walk to the boardwalk, beach and nature. Very quiet. I cooked every night during our stay as the kitchen us really well equipped and the added bonus of a pantry with oil, staples, salt and pepper etc. And the very nice surprise of a bottle of wine, cheese and milk in the fridge on our arrival. The only suggestion I would have is to have a bigger and more comfortable couch in the living room. We left items behind and the owner graciously offered to send to me. We will be back .

When we arrived at the property and got out of our vehicle it was very apparent that the previous occupants had placed seafood remnants in the garbage bin. We contacted the host and he made arrangements to rectify next day. He should have dealt with it before we arrived as he was well aware of the problem and by next day the smell had permeated the bedroom and living areas .

Holiday Heaven
The location is amazing, the view spectacular, the house is utterly gorgeous and has been lovingly & skillfully restored with so many original and unique pieces of artwork including the light fittings. Communication with the owner was exceptional. The house is extremely well stocked with everything you could want. The bed was heavenly & super comfy with the ocean view an added bonus. We loved it so much we have booked our next holiday there before we had even left. Can't wait to return later this year.

Inside and Out
When you first turn up, the property is a bit of a disappointment from the outside. Don't let this fool you. Inside, it is absolutely lovely. A lot of work has been done to modernise it and everything you need is in there. Then you go to the main doors to the deck and the view is fantastic. You are literally 150 meteres (a guess) from the Urunga boardwalk which is a highlight of any holiday. The views are wonderful. So, a big thumbs up to Rupert for a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Blissful beach abode in ideal location
Driftwood Beach House is perfectly located within easy walking access to the wonderful coastal boardwalk, swimming lagoon & shops. The river & ocean views are captivating! My partner & I spent many delightful moments sitting on the verandah admiring the beautiful landscape. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated & well appointed. We really appreciated the treats kindly provided by the host eg wine, cheese & other staples. I highly recommend this house & eagerly look forward to returning for another relaxing Urunga holiday.
