Fantastic property, spotlessly clean and wonderfully equipped for a luxury holiday. The pool, pool relaxation area, petanque court and gardens are truly lovely. Walking into the centre of Maussane is easy and there are interesting shops and lots of amazing restaurants to choose from. The very best thing about this lovely home is the hosts Jean-Paul and Cathy who made our holiday a real French experience. We loved it so much we are planning our return. Thank you so much for hosting.

Beautiful visit
This was well worth the 2 year wait to visit. We originally booked for June 2020 and we rescheduled twice as we waited through the pandemic. Everything inside and out was beautiful, clean, and inviting. For our daughter the pool was one of the highlights of our whole trip. The host Jean-Paul and Catherine were kind and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Nous avons bcp aimé notre séjour dans le mas de Cathy et Jean-Paul qui sont très accueillants et qui nous ont donné de bons conseils. Super endroit pour découvrir une région sublime. On retournera!

We had a lovely time in this well appointed property. The property matched the specification and was clean and welcoming, everything you needed it to be! Jean-Paul and Catherine were great hosts and gave us some good advice on where to go and what to see. We will return!

Presque parfait
Bonjour,
Je déplore que le site ABRITEL mette en avant (photo) l'ensemble de la propriété alors que seul le gîte annexe à l'habitation est à la disposition des vacanciers.
Etant correspondant TRIPADVISOR pour les hôtels et restaurants, je jouerai donc de cette casquette pour indiquer, selon la formule consacrée, que "le diable se cache dans les détails". Je veux dire par là que tous les équipements proposés doivent être en parfait état de fonctionnement, qu'il s'agisse de la télévision, d'internet ou du tire-bouchon....
Cela dit, cette location permet vraiment de passer d'excellentes vacances, les propriétaires (hôtes) sont charmants, dévoués et réactifs.
La piscine, soigneusement préparée et entretenue par Jean Paul est au top! Le jardin est magnifique et finement entretenu par ... les ciseaux de Catherine.
Bref, n'hésitez pas à vous rendre à cette adresse même si les derniers 200 m de l'accès au logement passent par un chemin "chaotique" pour la voiture !

Séjour parfait, maison parfaite, hôtes parfaits!
Nous avons passé un séjour idyllique dans notre location. La maison est idéalement placée, d’un confort et d’un silence absolu.
Le jardin est très beau.
Les propriétaires sont adorables, toujours à notre écoute.
Nous avons apprécié leurs conseils utiles pour passer un séjour parfait.

Un havre de paix dans un magnifique environnement
Un grand merci à Cathy et Jean-Paul pour leur disponibilité, leur gentillesse et leurs conseils pertinents pour découvrir cette magnifique région des Alpilles.
Le Mas de la Figuière est un écrin, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et parfaitement équipé.
Que vous soyez adepte du farniente ou amateur de belles et bonnes choses, l'endroit est idéal.
Ces 2 semaines sont passées beaucoup trop vite.

Zeer mooi en aangenaam verblijf. Mooie streek die als uitvalsbasis kan dienen om mooie plaatsen te bezoeken.
Aangename eigenaars die ons toch ook enkele interessante tips hebben meegegeven om dingen te bezoeken in de streek.

Magnifique
Revenir au plus vite, c’est notre souhait. Jean Paul et Cathy sont des gens adorables, serviables,généreux avec beaucoup d’attentions. La maison,le décor soigné et élégant ,le jardin, juste magnifique. C’est vraiment très propre. Nous avons adoré , il ne manque rien. N’hésitez pas une seule minute,vacances de rêve assurément.

Charming apartment and garden
Wonderful week-long stay in Provence. Our hosts Jean-Paul and Catherine were very welcoming to our family and our 1.5 year old daughter. Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool, and a well appointed apartment with all the necessary modern conveniences. Walking distance to the charming village of Maussane, and a short drive from many local attractions. Book with confidence for your next stay!

We really enjoyed our stay with the Bitangas at the apartment attached to their house. Maussane is a surprisingly buzzy and cosmopolitan village, lots of lovely shops and restaurants, and an easy walk from the Mas. There are lots of ice cream opportunities in town, as well as bars/cafes and pizzerias. Our children adored the fabulous swimming pool and every facility was provided (washing machine, dishwasher, clothes dryer for example). Short striking distance to Les Baux des Provence which was a highlight of our holiday. In the hot weather, the Carrieres des Lumieres were a welcome relief!! It was also great to be able to practise my French; the Bitangas were very patient!!

Maussane is a surprisingly buzzy and cosmopolitan village, lots of lovely shops and restaurants, and an easy walk from the Mas. Superbes vacances !
On a vraiment passé de très belles vacances dans une magnifique région que nous ne connaissions pas encore !
Nos hôtes, Catherine et Jean-Paul, ont été à la fois discrets et attentionnés, toujours prêts à nous donner de bonnes idées de visites ou de s'enquérir de notre bien être.
Le gîte est également très bien et idéalement situé, au cœur des Alpilles ! Très bien aménagé et décoré avec goût, on s'y est très vite senti comme chez nous.
La climatisation était la bienvenue avec ces fortes chaleurs et que dire de la piscine, elle a fait le bonheur de toute la petite famille !
Le centre du village, tout proche, offre également des commerces et restaurants de qualité.
Ces 15 jours n'auront pas suffit, et c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons !

Verblijf zoals omschreven op de site
Mooi, compleet ingericht huis met in de tuin voldoende zitplaatsen om af te wisselen. Eigen zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke behulpzame eigenaren, gastvrij maar niet opdringend.
10 Minuten wandelen naar de dorpsstraat met verschillende winkels en restaurants.
Gunstig gelegen voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.

Lovely apartment/house
We had a wonderful holiday in this holiday house in Maussanne. Everything was there that we needed, very pleasant owners who were always very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Would definitely recommend.

The perfect vacation home
This is the perfect vacation home, very clean and beautifully decorated. Jean-Paul and Cathy are kind a generous hosts. They recommended amazing restaurants and bicycling routes and helped us with learning French. The home situated just a short walk from the village where we found boulangeries, a fromagerie, restaurants, and anything one would want. The terrace overlooks the pool and garden with olive trees and lavender, a beautiful setting for all of our meals. Thank you Cathy and Jean-Paul for a lovely stay!

Sehr schöne drei Zimmerwohnung!!
Wir haben unsere Zeit in der sehr hübschen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen.
Der Pool ist super und der kleine Bereich sehr gut für kleinere Kinder geeignet.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben viele gute Ideen was man alles in der Gegend machen kann.
Wir kommen gerne Mal wieder!!!

Charming cottage and garden in nice quiet location
As two couples looking for a central location to explore Provence, Mas de la Figuiere was ideal. The cottage is nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen, pleasant outside eating area and pretty garden with pool. The first bedroom lacked hanging space or drawers for clothes, however the second bedroom had a spacious wardrobe.
The owners of the property gave us a very warm welcome and always at hand to give advice on places to visit . Easy walk into the village where there are a variety of restaurants
We would recommend this property.

Magnifique séjour dans un petit coin de paradis en plein cœur de la Provence .
L endroit est magnifique , très vert , au calme et proche malgré tout du centre du village .le gîte est très bien aménagé et décoré , il est très fonctionnel ... le jardin est magnifique , très vert et très bien entretenu , la piscine splendide et très propre . Et jean Paul et Catherine ,nos hôtes sont à nos petits soins ( conseils en tout genre , gentillesse, discretion , sympathie et , empathie ) c est avec beaucoup de plaisir que nous y retournerons et que nous le recommanderons à d autres .....

Beautiful property in a beautiful garden
We have stayed in Maussane before and this property exceeded our expectations. The location is secluded and quiet. The gite is of a very high standard and well furnished with very comfortable beds. The garden was beautiful; to dine outside each evening was a pleasure and the pool was most welcome after a day out (or a day in). The owners of the property were very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. For us, the well-equipped kitchen was a real bonus. Our entire experience here was wonderful and I will certainly try to book this property again.

Très bon séjour
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont conseillé des restos, des idées de visites .... La maison est bien agréable (surtout la clim et la piscine quand il fait près de 40°!) et très propre à notre arrivée. La description qui est faite de la maison dans l'annonce est fidèle.
Nous avons apprécié la proximité de saint Remi de Provence et d'Arles.
Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location.

Eine herrliche Woche / une semaine manifique
Wir hatten eine tolle Woche. Wir haben uns im Hause der Bitangas sehr wohl gefühlt. Viele hilfreiche Tips unserer Vermieter haben unseren Urlaub bereichert. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man in knapp 10 min im Ort. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gemangelt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Au revoir!

Très belle location
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un gîte impeccablement tenu avec tout le confort nécessaire.
Les propriétaires super sympas donnent l'impression de loger chez des amis et leurs conseils en toutes matières sont judicieux.
N'oublions pas l'excellente table d'hôte de Catherine.
Un seul bémol : le chemin d'accès jusqu'à la maison.
