The view was spectacular and the beds comfy! My only issue was the multiple texts and emails each day - a bit river the top communication. Overall a great staycation since we are local!

I have used VRBO for several years, and have never had a problem until now. The location of this condo is oceanfront and beautiful! Unfortunately, the condition of the condo was disappointing…two of the bathrooms had tub fixtures in need of replacement. One failed and caused a water problem that required the shut off of water to the whole unit so we had to check out one day early. The property manager was responsive, but it has been over a month, and VRBO customer support has dropped the ball in refunding the accurate amount for the last day not stayed but prepaid. In the future, I may check to see if a property has it’s own management company in place before booking through VRBO.

We were visiting Wilmington for the first time to attend my son‘s wedding. We wanted to be on the beach and we could not have been more grateful for this rental. More than served our needs. Location was truly amazing. The sunrise views were breathtaking. We were also very thankful to be able to walk to a restaurant and coffee shop. We would love to return for another stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. The views were perfect- just right access to the beach and close to pier. Our property manager was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for a getaway. Hope to stay here again!

This is an older property on the ocean front. Just a short walk to the beach. Bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen has all the basic needs. The duplex is clean, with ample parking, and a decent view of the ocean. We did not use the supplied beach equipment or grill. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

This was a good rental company to work with. A quick walk to Crystal Pier and Oceanic.

This was our first time to Wrightsville Beach. The house was just as described and everything was neat and clean when we arrived. The door code didn’t work on arrival, but the property manager was easy to reach and quickly remedied the issue (an electrical storm that swept through shortly before we arrived apparently caused the problem). The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of places for clothes, luggage, etc. The living space was plenty roomy and comfortable for our group (3 adults and 2 children). We really appreciated the beach toys, chairs and cart. There is an outside shower and hose that was conveniently located. The only thing that stops me from a 5 star rating is the location. The house is very close to a very popular public access. There’s a large public parking lot and changing rooms a stones throw away. While we didn’t expect a private beach, just be aware that it gets crowded early. We learned quickly that we needed to get down and set up our chairs before 8 am if we wanted a spot close to the house. But overall, the properly is very nice and just as pictured. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed our time at Wrightsville Beach tremendously!

The location of the property is fantastic; right on the beach, on the south side of the island with mainly houses so beach not super crowded. The layout of the house is great and the room sizes perfect for a family of 6 adults.

This condo was in the perfect location. We were able to walk out onto the beach, walk to the Oceanic restaurant for dinner, and to the coffee shop across the street. It was small but clean and fully stocked. The most important gift was that we could bring our dog Ozzie… who also loved the beach.

Great location. Love bedrooms with balcony. Great walkout to beach. Good outside area to sit with outside shower area and parking.
Need entry steps cleaned . Initial impression is worrisome then everything else very clean.
FYI the dryer vent to outside needs checking warning cones up to clean but internal dryer vent is cleaned. Also the upstairs shower handle needs replacing very difficult to turn on

I’ve stayed in a lot of beach rentals. This one ranks at the top! Everything’s in excellent condition. Beautiful decor. Convenient to everything. You could literally fly in and have everything you need for an awesome beach trip!

Only two minor issues - the living room couch is due to be replaced. It is not comfortable as it is very worn. The sliding doors to balconies were all difficult to operate, especially the locks. The main entry electronic lock was very finicky. There were not screen doors that worked with the sliding doors.

On the beach & near a pier/restaurant. Unit had no hot water in the kitchen. Carpets are worn and not clean. Unit needs cleaning, fresh paint and a new slider door - very difficult to open and close.

The home is comfortable and we were so grateful for the beach provisions: towels, chairs, bikes, etc. The private patio on the first level was terrific! We were fortunate to spend time with friends and the space was perfect. We were within walking distance for coffee or lunch, and could cook together in the evenings. We spent mornings with coffee on the deck watching fhe sun rise. This home and location does not disappoint.

Love Wrightsville Beach!
We’ve stayed in these type of duplexes here in years past and these owners did an ok job of cosmetic updates. We absolutely love the oceanfront location! Only a few things I would mention: The slider to deck is a huge pain to open or close. Children or elderly cannot really use it. Door and frame need replacing. Also there was no dining type table on deck or patio for outdoor eating. Finally, the description says outdoor shower and it does have one but it isn’t enclosed for privacy and doesn’t have a pull chord to keep it on. This means you can’t avoid dumping sand from your swim suits in the inside showers unfortunately. We love the south Lumina location and would return to this place even with those issues! Thank you!

Rental property was clean. We had everything we needed. Steps from the beach. The unit is decorated very nicely. We appreciate Sea Scape Properties and the extras they provide such as linens, soap, detergent, beach towels and grill. Thank you for allowing us to bring our pet. The only issue (and really it is only a slight nuisance) it is near a public access point so it can get crowded but just walking down the beach a few steps remedies the crowd.
