Lake Shoecraft Waterfront Log Home

The house and yard are very nice. This is a great house for family and friends' vacation. We used the house the home base for my son's wedding. The time was very special. We had such relaxing time watching the sunrise over the lake on the deck. The birds on water. The host was very helpful from the reservation to the day we left. Enjoy and Thank you.

Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils! Communication with the host was easy and instructions were clear. The lake was gorgeous. A great place to stay!

The paddleboards, kayaks and pier were fabulous. Lake life and outdoor hot tub were just what we needed.

The house is lovely and the owner is very kind and responsive. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. There were just a few small details that could be improved. Although the listing mentions a 6-seater dining table, there were only four chairs available. When we went to use the barbecue, we noticed there was some mould inside, so it wasn’t usable at the time. Additionally, the bunk bed bedroom does not have built-in heating; a small portable heater was provided, but it wasn’t quite enough to keep the room warm during winter nights. These are all relatively easy fixes, and with those addressed, the stay would be close to perfect. Because of these issues, I didn’t feel it was quite fair to give a full 5-star rating, but we still enjoyed our time there.
