No internet, no iron! Passwords never worked even when contacting both owners. Reported iron gone but no fix for getting a replacement. The carpets needed to be vacuumed. Toilet paper wasn’t sufficient in master bathroom and had to get some from upstairs. Needed a few more decent Beach chairs. We loved the area and beach!

There was a mixup on our part when we arrived at the property. We went to the wrong unit and since it was a two bedroom instead of a three, we thought that there was a wrong description of what we rented. We attempted to contact the owner to ask what was going on. Before we realized our mistake the owner called my wife who wasnt even on the trip. When my wife tried to tell her that she needed to contact me because she wasn’t on site, the owner took a very nasty tone. My wife wasn’t able to get a word in and when she asked the owner to not be so rude, the owner told my wife that she would talk to her “however the f**k she wanted to” and then she hung up on her. This was at 11 pm at night. There was no apology from the owner. To add to this debacle, there was dirt in the bathtub and when we opened the drape, the inside of the curtains were filthy. The twin beds were uncomfortable, tv reception was poor and the furniture was dated. We have used VRBO several times and have never had such a negative experience with a property owner. She was rude, crass and beyond unprofessional.

Great location. Could have done without the spiral staircase. Enjoyed the beach and pool but the unit could use some updates.

I’ve stayed in a couple of these condos and geez 1980 called and wants their furniture back! WiFi? What WiFi? Also next time I’ll bring rabbit ears for TV (no HD! WTH?)...that is if all TVs work and they didn’t! Hey but the view! Also if you want to ride the trolley (and use All the amenities) this place isn’t for you. But if you’re getting together with some very nice old friends and want great beach access at a little bit of a discount in SSR take a look.

Great sunsets. Relaxing stay in Captiva. Plenty of room for the family. Clean, beds were all new and comfortable. If you want to just get away for a quiet stay this is eat. You can eat in, grill at the pool or walk to outdoor restaurants.

Fantasia tastic location both in terms of its situation to the beach as well as where it is on the island. we parked our rental car and literally walked or ride bikes everywhere for the entire week. can’t wait to return!

On the beach in South Seas. Close to restaurants and shops. Very nice area in Captiva. Would stay in this area again.

The place was not as clean as the management team thought, and disagreed with me. None of us were ok with the cleanliness of the place!

Seamless process. I live Florida but we have stayed on the Panhandle for years. This was the first (not last) to Captiva. The pace is perfect as long as you want peace and quiet. Beach has too many beautiful shells to count. Sand isn’t the powder white we were used to, but the weather and water conditions made up for it. If you are a party person, not the place for you

Not sure what was the best part! The beach view was perfect, sunsets directly in front if you! All the things you need to enjoy your vacation. Check in easy, beach chairs and umbrella provided…good food within walking distance… great information re: locale provided in check in info..best place to stay!

Disappointed with cleanliness and condition of apt. Floors were very dirty. Bathrooms had mildew in places and smelled of mold. Carpet in bedrooms and stairway needs shampooing. Railing at top of stairs is detached and poses a hazard. Master bathtub has very slow drain and seems clogged with sand. Hall bath has a toilet paper holder that is partly pushed into the wall. Smoke alarm battery died and was beeping at 1:00am and replacement batteries in kitchen drawer were dead. Some of the beach chairs had broken arm rests. Area under the stairs where the beach items are stored was left sandy and messy by, I assume, the previous tenants. I called the management company within 24 hours of checking in and they responded by sending a maid who mopped the floors. Someone also showed up to bring us more forks. We were 9 and only had 5 forks. I have never complained before on other vacation lodgings and just think the owners should be advised that their management company needs to do a better job. A ceiling fan or oscillating fan in the living room would really help with the afternoon heat coming through the glass sliders.

Our family of four greatly enjoyed this property. It was clean and everything inside worked well. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beautiful water views. It's a couple minute walk to the sand and the house came stocked with plenty of beach supplies (towels, chairs, toys, etc.) Easy walk to the local restaurants. We would stay here again.

The unit was fine and clean. Occupants of other condos in the building left there trash outside there doors Despite the fact there were two metal dump containers on each floor of the building. The trash would spill out on the walkways. Contacted the property manager and the situation was rectified. I cannot understand how people are so lazy they will not walk a few feet to put there trash in metal container.

We had a nice weekend, we were 6 friends. Comfortable condo, nice location, had everything we need to enjoy the 3 day stay
