Lorne Surfdogz at Lorne
Surfdogz è un appartamento recentemente ristrutturato situato a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia ea pochi minuti di distanza dal centro commerciale, ristoranti ecc. Surfdogz è stato progettato per le coppie che vogliono vacanze con il loro "miglior amico" in mente, con una doccia esterna calda e fredda (shampoo cane fornito), cane letto, canile e un sicuro, completamente recintato cane provato cane fornito. Per assicurarsi che i proprietari non si sentano lasciati fuori l'appartamento ha un ampio spazio di vita con angolo cottura, nuovissimo bagno con doccia "forte flusso" e camera da letto separata con un letto queen size top cuscino con coperte elettriche doppie di controllo. Surfdogz was very comfortable and felt homely for my wife, myself and our dog. I would highly recommend this property to stay at. We will definitely look to staying there again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Surfdogz. Our little Bonti also got to meet lots of other dogs around Lorne Dog Beach!

The inside of the property was very welcoming. The decor, bedding and facilities were all good and a bottle of vino and milk in the fridge were a bonus. No cooking facilities but we knew that. Outside of the property not so welcoming. The house looks a bit run down and entry/yard was quite muddy. It needs an overhaul. We loved Lorne but the house is not walkable to town as it is on a steep hill, like most houses in Lorne. We just went out for the day and returned late afternoon.

Firstly the host was very friendly and accommodating.
I had a couple of issues and they sorted them out for me.
It is very clean, they switched the split system on before I arrived to warm it up. I definitely chose the coldest 3 days of the year to stay at Lorne, only one day was nice enough to walk on the beach. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the weather. The access to the premises is risky if you have a smaller car, mine is a Corolla. It would be suitable to an SUV or a 4 wheel drive as they don't have a propper driveway, you have to driver over the kerb. The only way I could get in without scraping underneath my car was to drive into next doors driveway and over the grass nature strip to get to their driveway. This got a bit hairy after two or three times, when I left I felt my wheels slipping and I thought I was going to get bogged but I finally got out, my wheels were spinning. They said I could park on the road but it is very narrow and I was concerned my car would get hit.
Plus I had things to carry all the way down their driveway. I realise they live upstairs, but it is a bit noisy through the day, I could hear children running across the floor. It settled down at night but you can hear their every movement, including opening and closing of cupboard doors. There is only a microwave and a kettle/toaster so there is no way to really cook any breakfast there is an outdoor bbq but too cold. It is high up on a hill so quite a walk into Lorne.
