We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. It has a great view - we saw Orca! It was perfect for a very low-key weekend getaway. Communication with Greg was very easy and he was always responsive.

What a great view. Went for a walk on the beach. Enjoyed the hot tub at dusk to watch the sun go down. Saw deer, a racoon, bunnies wonder through the property and what a sweet surprise found in the garage. Thank you for that. 😉 perfect vacation and great memories with my 91 year old mama, sister, and niece.

My 2 adult sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Cabin and will definitely return. I’ve rented many homes over the years and this one was particularly well stocked, had everything we needed in the kitchen. The property owner is extremely kind and responsive. Loved the views and sunsets were amazing.

Greg, The ocean view from your place was exactly what we needed after almost 2 weeks of visiting 3 National Parks.
The hot tub was also a plus along with the ability to access the shoreline for walks.

Overall impression - most relaxed my wife and I have been in years. I could sit in that living room and watch the view for days, which is exactly what we did. That, and walking on the beach made our anniversary very special this year. Owner is fantastic to deal with, property is as described - I can't think of a single criticism.

Whidbey Island is a beautiful place. Greg's cabin is situated in the centerish of the island so it is easy to get around to all the great things to see without having to travel too far. This a comfortable restful cabin with a spectacular view and has everything that you need for a great stay.
Greg communicates well and has a lot of useful information available for his guests. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Our stay was everything we dreamed and more! Greg was an exceptional host attentive to every question/need and went beyond expectations! We soaked up the beautiful view every chance we got and woke up to coffee in bed with birdsong, the sound of the waves touching the shore below, and views of the snow capped Olympics! This place was a treasure we are still savoring and hope to return! Memories for a lifetime ...

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It has a wonderful deck with a view of the sound, perfect for watching the sunset either in the chairs or from the hot tub. It has all the touches you'd have at home - cozy blankets, plenty of books, a comfortable couch, well stocked kitchen. It is quiet and has access to the beach - we only saw a couple people while walking, so also feels very private. All in all a wonderful place to stay and we will be back!

My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughter that we hadn’t seen since Christmas. We had a lovely time relaxing and spending quality time together on Whidbey and the house was perfect. It has the most stunning view and the hot tub was lovely. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us, but it still felt intimate and cozy. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for having us!

We have a special needs teen and we don’t get out much. So when we find a place that fits our needs we are relieved and happy! The Driftwood Cabin was perfect. My husband and I, along with our son, immediately felt relaxed as soon as we pulled up to the cabin. The views!!! I sat on the deck staring at the ocean for hours hoping a pod of whales would swim by. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. The washing machine and dryer are essential especially after spending time on the beach. The hot tub was so relaxing.. especially during the magical sunsets. But the best part is Greg, the host. He makes you feel incredibly welcome and is so happy to share his cabin so families like ours can make lifelong memories. He even gives you suggestions on where to eat on the island and where to explore. We really appreciated that!

We had a great time taking my visiting mom up here to celebrate her birthday. Quiet, comfortable, and an amazing location. Hosts were easy to communicate with and made the experience very enjoyable as they even put up birthday decorations. Walking the beach, the views, and the easy access to Coupeville and the PT ferry was just what we were looking for. Excellent stay and we will be back.

If you need a change of scenery, this is it. Amazing views, cozy and comfortable interior and a short trail away from walking on the beach! We experienced both rain and sun, amazing stay for any season! (Plus the rainy moments us less guilty lounging around enjoying the huge TV and fireplace…)

The property was just as advertised, and then some! Greg went above and beyond -- offered early check in, put up a Happy Birthday banner and balloons...everything was very clean. Extremely well supplied kitchen. Plethora of soft towels for the bathroom as well as for the glorious, private hot tub. Soaked while listening to the birds, and looking out at water. Greg’s Driftwood Cabin on Ledgewood Beach seems like a million miles away from the busy-ness of life — yet the quaint cabin is easily accessible with just a few neighbors nearby.
Walking thru the front door and taking in the casual and bright living quarters is lovely, but it’s the expansive Puget Sound and beckoning views beyond the pine trees that takes one’s breath away.
Greg has thought of practically everything for visitors in the cabin. His welcome basket of snacks, drinks and popcorn — complete with cute popcorn bags! — was most thoughtful. The pantry with a few needed canned goods, spices and even tea and coffee were handy.
This cabin is located less than 30 minutes from Oak Harbor and Deception Pass State Park, and is just 15 minutes from Coupeville and Langley. While we thoroughly enjoyed our visits into Whidbey’s charming sea towns, state parks and farms, it was the cabin where we had the most fun and relaxation. Mornings started with walks and runs along the beach, a steep stairwalk from the property or side road a quarter-mile away. Afternoons were spent watching for migrating whales, seals and otters, and the ferries and cargo ships in the distance. Nights were culminated playing cards, soaking in the hot tub, and enjoying the stars and lights of Port Townsend over on the Olympic Peninsula. It was mind-blowing to know we were so close to Victoria, BC.
We loved Greg’s Driftwood Cabin so much we’re already talking about returning in late summer for a longer stay. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing family get-away, Greg. Kudos to you and your love of this magical place!

We absolutely loved this destination ! From the very start of the process it was simple and very friendly. The home was cozy and comfy and the views are amazing !!!! Hottub was a perfect way to end the night and enjoy the sunset. We would salary again for sure. It was also my husbands birthday and owner put up a birthday sign and left balloons. Everything was more then perfect

Cozy little cabin with a great view. Perfect for a little weekend getaway with friends. Well stocked and clean. Would definitely come back. I didn’t bring my kids with me this trip but noticed all the great toys and art supplies offered for kids.

Comfortable cabin with everything we needed. Amazing view. Very clean. Weather (winter) did not allow for sitting outside but the windows brought the outside in. Plan to stay there again in summer when we can. Easy communication with Greg that was much appreciated.

The house was clean, organized, and very homely for a couple or a family. Greg was a great host and had everything ready for us to enjoy our stay. The view from the backyard was great and the hot tub was nice even on a cold November night.

Loved the cabin and the area, had a major storm come in that knock out power for over a week, so we were there for 8 days. After the 2nd day with no power and 31 degrees, we went to Seattle for the last 2 days. Looking forward to going again in the summer.

This is a wonderful place to stay on Whidbey Island for a couple or small family. The house is cozy, immaculate and has all of the amenities to feel like you are at your house. The view is like you are looking at a post card. The house is warm and the new windows keep the heat in. The bathroom is spacious. A+. I can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay! The cabin is perfect and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The views are fabulous. We enjoyed paddleboarding along the private beach. There are many fun hikes nearby, and so many things to see and do. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Greg is a marvelous host and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come back.

So sad to leave. 2024 driftwood is a home. You can tell that a family has treasured the home and shares it openly with you. Clean as can be, the view is beyond perfect, so calm, comfortable bed, just perfect. We went to a wedding and associated events, so didn’t get to cook, but kitchen was well outfitted, new appliances, etc. and didn’t think to turn on the tv. When you’ve got that view, it’s hard to look away. I hope i get to come back!

This cottage was everything you could ask for. The decor and countless amenities were more than I imagined. You can't beat the view of the Sound and mountains in the mornings and the sunset views at night. My twin 13 year old boys didn't have a problem going down the steps to enjoy the beach area. They came back with a bounty of shells and rocks. The location of this property on Whidbey Island was great as you did not have to travel far to get to the north side of the island and other towns in between. The Coupeville Wharf had great ambiance with cute stores and great restaurants. The ice cream shop had delicious ice cream! Our host was accommodating and available. This is a must-stay place to spoil yourself. As my husband said about the view, "Imagine waking up to this every morning". And I said, "Imagine falling asleep to the lap of the waves every night."
