It was great!

Manistee is a hidden gem. Loved the beaches, dunes in the area and the great downtown location. Would highly recommend the place and the town.

Really enjoyed the view of the golf course. Our dog absolutely loved the backyard with so much space to run around. The house was well supplied with everything we needed to feel at home. The only thing I missed was our king sized bed at home. We slept in separate rooms. The beds were very comfortable though.

Great location to downtown Manistee & local beaches! Beautiful house! Very cute & well stocked with family board games, books for the kids!

We loved the Cherry Street house. It was clean and the backyard is amazing! We used the bikes to ride to the beach and loved watching deer graze on the golf course across the street. The house has everything you need for a great stay in Manistee.

We had a great time here. Really good location in a nice neighborhood setting. Close to town, walkable to a large beach area with a nice front porch looking out over the golf course across the street. Huge backyard that our dog and daughter loved playing in during the day.

Cute little house - older so rooms were small but perfect for our purposes. We needed a place we could have our dogs with us and the large fenced-in back yard was great. Best of all the neighborhood was quiet and first street beach is just down the street (including a dog beach! ). Great fit for our needs and our granddaughters loved it.

Felt like home

Home was clean and very accommodating for our needs. Back yard was wonderful, Fully fenced yard which was huge. Dogs loved it. Great view of golf course out front window, where we saw deer every morning and evening. Great communication with owners. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay in this cute beach house. It was perfect for 2 adults, a child, and a dog. We enjoyed coffee in the morning out front with a view of the golf course. The 1st Street Beach was perfect. It’s right at the end of Cherry Street. It allowed dogs to be off leash and the water was great for kids. The beach area is between two piers so it is shallow and doesn’t have big waves like the other beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. We didn’t go out to eat since we stayed here during Covid-19. The back yard was great. The dog enjoyed running around. There is a garden and bird feeders that different birds frequent. The fire pit was really enjoyable at night. The Lake Michigan sunsets were spectacular. The owner was easy to communicate with by text message. If we ever decide to come back to Manistee, we would stay in this house again.

Cherry St Cottage served us well for our month long stay in Michigan for fall colors. Location was central so with the exception of Upper Peninsula everything was within a day drive and back. We did make a 2 day extended excursion to the Upper Peninsula and it was outstanding! The cottage was warm and comfortable, it really needed nothing that we could not live without. Having the use of the garage was great. The fenced yard was exactly what our fur babies needed to feel right at home , they never had so much fun as when they would chase and investigate the "critters of the marsh" Our home team Astros were in the world series and we watched all the games easily on our laptop/tablet connecting to sports channel covering the game. The cottage has wifi and the ability to connect to your service but no local tv reception, I did find I missed seeing the local news easily, aside from that I must admit there was nothing it lacked. The photos are accurate and the property description is also . The beds were comfy the sheets and plenty of pillows and comforters were all much appreciated. Cherry St is quiet so no road noise, neighborhood is charming and very quiet. Cherry St cottage is a hidden gem out there in the world of overpriced and poorly taken care of properties. We will remember our vacation fondly because the house was so accommodating during a month that had everything blow in interspersed with beautiful moderate days. We even found where to get the best meals in town..."The Bungalow Restaurant" The deserts made in house at the Meat Market heading out going N was wonderful, the apple cider produced by any of the local orchards is fantastic...the theatre in town was a blast from the past, what a treat to see major box office movie while we were there! Truly all will be treasures we will remember. Thank you for allowing us to experience Michigan in your sweet little cottage...Marilyn & Connie Rico and Diva October 2019

My wife and I stayed there recently along with our Golden Retriever and were very happy with the place. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed watching Netflix movies in evenings. Bonus fenced in yard for the dog and use of the garage which came in very handy as it snowed and was very windy. Would stay here again.

The house was just as stated. Enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the limited bath towels, and wash clothes (we had only one for each of the 4 people for the 5 nights we stayed and would prefer not to have to do laundry for a clean towels.). Also enjoyed the fawns in the backyard.

It was great finding a place a such short notice where we could bring our dogs. Had a very relaxing weekend.

The Cherry Street Cottage was in the perfect spot for our needs! Clean and neat. Great location for walks to town and the beach. Nice golf course with beautiful views right across the street. We had a great relaxing week! One tip...utilize parking in the garage! The golf balls do come across the street on occasion - we did get a little golf ball ding on the car.
