From the wonderful porch to the comfy beds, this vacation home full of character and charm encourages relaxation. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the utilities efficient. The beach was a short walk away and the owners a quick reply from any inquiry. We hope to return!

The hosts, Joyce and Joe are very special people. They made our stay even better than expected. We were “older ladies” and the house fit us perfectly. Only 2 blocks from the beach. We will definitely return someday.

Our family of 6 stayed here for Spring Break and it was such a nice home! Super close to the beach, restaurants and Pleasure Pier! The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts are so friendly and really make sure you enjoy your stay. I would definitely recommend this cute beach house for your Galveston Getaway 🏝️

The house was so pretty! The location is awesome, walkable to the seawall and The Spot Ave The Poopdeck! The hot tub was a great bonus. And her yard is beautiful! She even walked around with me as we talked plants lol We loved the house and were so lucky to have family stop by and spend holiday time with us too. Thank y'all so much!

We liked the property. The sheets were soft, and the home was clean and well-cared for. Some of the doors made noise when opening and closing. The decoration was very nice. The traffic was quite noisy....people revving cars at all hours. I don't think some of the vehicles had a muffler. If they did, it did not muffle well. The host was very nice and answered our questions in a timely manner. The house reminded me of one of the homes I lived in when I was a child.

Joe and Joyce were more than accommodating. Their house was very clean and well located! Area is quiet as well. We will be renting from them again. Definitely recommend using them as your hosts. We have rented off this site from others in the past, and this was the best stay to date.

This is a beautifully done beach house. We arrived and it was immaculate and a/c was already on! We had a terrific time! Highly suggest you rent at Pelican’s Nest!!

My family and I enjoyed this rental and it's great location for walking the wall, pier, and beach. The bunk room was perfect for the kids, while the adults had plenty of bedrooms. The owners were friendly and helpful. Extremely well cleaned and maintained.

The neighborhood was very quiet and clean. The entire house had a really relaxed vibe. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the sound of this house. You could not hear conversations from different rooms, which was nice since we had 4 teenagers. It was so well insulated! The walk to the beach was about 2-4 minutes and there were a ton of restaurants close by. There was a hose and sprayer on the side of the house so we could hose off before we went inside which helped keep sand out of the home. We had parking permits ready to go when we got there and there was plenty of parking. We cooked a couple of meals and there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We did not wind up using the hot tub since we were too afraid to get sand in it. The layout of the house was perfect for us. The host had a binder with helpful info in the front room so we did not have to bother them with a ton of questions. The kids loved the bunk beds and we felt like the bedrooms were comfy. The front room had plenty of seating and the porch was spacious for anyone who wanted to hang outside. The washer and dryer, fridge, and stove were all in great condition. The bathrooms are nice. There is a small one with great water pressure and a larger one where a couple of kids at a time could get ready with moderate water pressure. We will use this place again if we come back to the area!
