Accommodated my elderly parents (90,88) with the master on the main. The main also has all the living, gathering, cooking and cleaning as a major plus. Young adults split up in the two other rooms on the main floor and my wife and I took the penthouse upstairs. The upstairs master is more of a large suite with sunroom sitting area and open decking to oversee the rear property and yard activities. I really liked that it’s not on the main drag, but just on the backside of it on the next street. Quiet, convenient to get in and out of,, and just a mile from the best eating and entertainment IOP has to offer. Grocery is even closer. It’s just a real nice, comfortable home with family charm and character. Beach is literally around the corner!! Adults- do the Dinghy, everyone needs some ACME!! Lori was great when we talked, had no issues here!! Thank You!!

This home was exactly as advertised, our family had a thoroughly enjoyable week. Not only was the house beautiful and comfortable, the perfectly manicured fenced in backyard and patio were definitely an added bonus. The host was friendly and very accessible. We hope to return!

The property was perfect for our family, with plenty of bedrooms (and beds). It was an easy walk to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet enough for early morning walks. There were great restaurants nearby and a grocery store and it was an easy drive to various attractions.

This house was perfect for our girls' group weekend trip. The house was as described, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. The location was ideal as it's a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to the restaurants and stores on IOP. The only negative was they didn't provide any extra toilet paper and 1 roll per bathroom won't last 8 women 3 days. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

The house was well maintained, exceptionally clean and in a great location. There was as a short walk to beach …. We considered taking our golf cart but did not need it…. left it home.
The simplicity of the inside of house was what really stood out for me…. No clutter… No dust collecting items… the kids room was great…. and each room had ceiling fans and floor fans if needed.

Had 4 families converging on the Isle of Palms from various locations. Canada, England and two from the upstate of SC. Checkin was easy & efficient. Communication with Lori was excellent and I’m pretty sure I drove her crazy with questions but she never seemed annoyed!! House was perfect - as shown and as advertised!!! Enough space that everyone had their own area without feeling cramped…backyard was a favorite gathering area and the short walk to the beach was easy even for several of us with bad knees!!! We had an amazing time and it is on our list of favorite places!! Would highly recommend!!!

Very clean and ample room for a family ( 3 generations) of 12. Short walk to beach. Host (Lori) responds quickly to questions/concerns. We definitely would recommend a stay at this home, and we hope to return again.

It’s all about location. Easy access to the beach, easy access to restaurants, easy access to Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Great space for large or extended family.

Owners were easy to work with and very attentive. Great location near the beach and park. The upstairs room is a large suite with a nice sun room. Good house layout for a big group to gather but also have room to separate when ready for a break from each other. Very well stocked kitchen.
A charming community filled with nice people, homes, and places to eat.

Short walk to the beach and everything you could ever need. Stores close by for groceries. Our family had a great time, just wish we’d have stayed longer.

Family friendly home and yard
House was very clean and yard secure for our dogs. Did have to buy some bug spray though! Great proximity to park and playground and of course the beach! Nice wide beach, and just a short walk. We had a wonderful time and the house fit our needs perfectly! Owner was a great communicator too! Would stay there again!

Family IOP Beach Trip 2022
This was our 17th year vacationing on the IOP and it was another great trip with friends and family. The house was clean and spacious and being dog friendly is great. We are dog people so traveling with our Boykin is important. The closeness to the Rec Park is a plus.

So happy to be back again this year! As always, we had a wonderful vacation. Great dog friendly house that is also easily accessible for my elderly mother. Lori is fabulous and so accommodating. Already looking forward to next year!

A great house just one street from the beach. The back yard was fantastic for corn hole, relaxing with a cup of coffee, and our dogs. The living room/dining room comfortable fit our group of nine. A great value for a house on IOP.

I felt the property was clean and well represented in the advertisement. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The property was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I was a bit surprised that some of the neighboring properties on the street were uncharacteristically run down for an otherwise beautifully maintained community.

Great stay
We had a wonderful week in this house. Owners were so accommodating and went above and beyond to prepare the house for us making sure that it had access for my sister-in-law who uses a wheelchair. Everything we needed was provided in terms of kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc. There are two beach accesses points within a short walk from the house. It is a quiet neighborhood with large park nearby. Grounds are nicely maintained. We had an issue during our stay with the AC and owners responded immediately and resolved issue as quickly as possible.

My family enjoyed our week in IOP. Daily walks on the beach. Close to parks(incl dog park). Easy access to local grocery, shopping and restaurants - everyone is so friendly. Great fenced yard for our small dogs to explore. Easy drive to nearby Target and stores/movie theater in Mt Pleasant and of course downtown Charleston.

Another great vacation at our shoot place
We stay here every year! Perfect house for my elderly mother and my dogs, and the rest of the family loves it too. This year we arrived the week after Hurricane Dorian, and Lori had worked hard to ensure everything was cleaned up. Yard and house were spotless! Part of the fence was down from the storm, so Lori had a temporary fence in place for the dogs to enjoy the back yard. She is always concerned about every detail, and is very responsive to any questions or concerns.

Wedding
Our family was in the area for a wedding. This house was spacious and never felt overwhelmingly full. The room with the single beds was a little warm at night but overall we where very comfortable.

Wonderful!
Very spacious and larger than we originally thought. Our family enjoyed the back porch and fenced in yard, the beach of course, the large family room and dining room. Parking was "easy-peazy!"

Super owner
While there were some issues with cleanliness on check in (towels and linens that smelled unwashed or soured; rollout bed not made as requested), these appeared to be a result of poor work by the housekeeping. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful and communicated with us regularly. She went out of her way to provide alternative entertainment when the TV service remained out for most of the week. I highly recommend this property owner!

Great vacation
We had a wonderful stay. The house was nice, clean and very comfortable house for the 9 of us and could easily handle the 12 listed as its max. The high chair and booster seat came in very handy. The gas grill made for good steak and shrimp. We appreciated the well apportioned kitchen and especially the skillets that were pretty new.
