Really nice rooms, spacious great communal areas, restaurant was amazing, spa is definitely the wow tho. 2 of us had the hole spa to ourselves

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Serawa were welcoming and very helpful. Everyone spoke good English and could not do enough to help you. The hotel is very nicely decorated, great restaurant and well stocked bar, with views over the neatly tendered gardens. There are two lifts, to access the rooms. The swimming pool area is well maintained and there are plenty of sunbeds available. You are able to walk into the town of Moraira, takes about 30mins. The breakfast offered a good selection of cold meats, breads and the chef would cook to order, ie omelettes. The dinner menus remained the same during our stay, and if on half board as we were, there were 5 options for starters and mains and 4 options for desserts. We opted for a room with a terrace, which had two sunbeds, a sofa and two chairs. The room has a safe, which is very easy to operate. The room had a mini-fridge/bar, ample size to store water (or any other beverage you may choose to cool!). The bedroom benefited from a full length mirror. The bathroom was a good size, with a great walk in shower.

We were in Room 114, a small room with one of the smaller terraces. The terrace itself met our needs but the bedroom was very small. We had a "broom cupboard" as a wardrobe, with only 6 hangers for two of us, for 6 days. It was not long enough to hang trousers or long dresses. There are no drawers either, you need to store t-shirts etcs in a cupboard. Our suitcases had to be stored in the bathroom as there was no where else to keep them. The room size did not meet that stated on the website. If booking, ask if you can have the larger of the rooms with a terrace.

Nice big and comfortable bed and good shower. The food at breakfast was nice but the service to replace the buffet when it ran out was slow. The location was good too.

We arrived and wanted to use the indoor pool but we were told it was only for guests who also paid for the spa. When we said we would pay to use the spa we were told it was fully booked and we had to book months in advance. Then we wanted to do the yoga classes, also fully booked. The receptionist wasn’t understanding when we spoke of our frustration her and just explained how it was our fault we did message the hotel in advance to reserve this. So we decided to use the gym instead, it was very basic and lots of the equipment wasn’t working properly (treadmill wouldn’t incline, squeaky cross trainer, spin bike seat height wouldn’t etc). There was no water machine and no staff around to ask for anything, so I had to go all the way to the restaurant to find a staff member. Everything felt quite basic and minimalist in the room too.
