The place was FANTASTIC, on so many levels. Incredibly spacious, clean, well and even generously stocked. Additionally, the Wyndham Resort was absolutely perfect, accommodating, and great as well. The amenities and hospitality were great. Perfect for all 3 generations to have a great vacation.

Amazing property! My kids loved the pool and the arcade. I have never stayed in a time share and because of all the amenities it’s hard to stay anywhere else. We will be back as we love the location, busch gardens was so close and the outlet was just 5 mins away. The selection of food was also not bad. 5 nights was our stay and the whole family did not want to go home. We stayed in a 3 but lockout condo and it was perfect, my family of 6 was able to stay in the 2 br and my parents were able to tag along and stayed in their own little apartment connected to ours. Everyone at kings gate was helpful and prompt, all we had to do was txt message for any questions. The rooms were clean and cozy and nobody had any complaints. Thank you Larry for such a great place to stay, we were very thankful :)

A very fun time
The property was clean and all the kids had a wonderful time swimming! We all enjoyed playing miniture golf as a family. The location was perfect to reach Jamestown and Yorktown as well.

Amazing communication in booking. The 3 bedroom lock off was spacious and more then enough room for our family of 5. The units furnishings were adequate, showing its age in some places, scratches on furniture, etc. There is an adult only pool in the complex which never seemed busy, the other pools were quite busy with many families and boisterous children. A complex of that size could use another pool. Mini golf, tennis and the arcade were great, clean and free! Activities staff was helpful and you can communicate with resort staff via text which is super convenient. The location of the complex is close to everything in the area, shopping, Busch gardens, CW. At this time the restaurant, pool bar and movies remain closed.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. This is our second visit to Kingsgate and it was just as enjoyable as the first trip.

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay at the resort. We had everything we needed in the kitchenette, plenty of room with our 10 month old and the bed was comfortable. Great location - located close to restaurants and grocery stores. There were a lots of activities going on at the resort for families and kids. Would recommend!

A pleasurable stay
Wyndham Kingsgate is a great place to stay with the family. Plenty of room and privacy with (almost) separate entries. In fact we only ran into our neighbors once on the first night. Larry was great in communicating and getting us set up before arriving. Our room also overlooked the lake which was a source of entertainment from our balcony as we said good morning to the geese and ducks.

Great for families!
Our experience was fantastic from beginning to end! The accommodations were just like they were pictured online and we were lucky enough to have a unit next to the pool and activities center. This made it very convenient when the kids wanted to run out and play a game of mini golf or table tennis. I didn’t think I would like having to make an appointment to swim due to COVID protocol but this did limit the # in the pool and made for an enjoyable time. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a place in the middle of the historic triangle that has modern amenities.

Loved the set up for family stay!
This was an easy process and good communication for booking and stay. The set up worked out well for families to stay together and still have their own units. The units could use updates and vacuum to keep cleaned up during your stay.

We really enjoyed the resort. The rooms were the perfect size. The resort had plenty of activities and amenities for the children and adults. Having a home away from home makes vacationing so much more affordable and enjoyable.

Problem free vacation
From reserving through HomeAway to checking out, everything went very smoothly. Accomodations were clean and well stocked. There were plenty of amenities suitable for all ages. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning.

Great stay Easter week!
We had a great stay at this property. The lodgings were excellent - a connecting 2 BR and a 1 BR. Often a measure of our comfort is in the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms. Our compliments to the housekeeping staff, the place was exceptional. Add an Easter Egg hunt on Easter for the kiddies and free mini golf and several pool selections and we were very pleased with the activities available. Downtown Williamsburg, restaurants, and shopping were all very convenient and only a few minutes away. We would highly recommend this to all of our friends and family.
