Location location location! Anything better would have been a water view. It was private, spa and fireplace were beautiful.

Bedroom upstairs with no ensuite meant negotiating stairs through the night which was challenging. A fireplace with no wood provided - not ideal. Maybe with provided breakfast options could have been offered prior to arrival. BG healthy bread versus white.

There was a musty smell

The highlight of our stay was the quality, quantity and variety of the breakfast provisions provided. Special mention also to the comfy bed. The views too were something special.

Cottage 4 is two-storey with a large area of the main living space taken up by the internal stairway. There is limited lighting through the main living area (and bathroom). One had to be mindful not to hit your head especially when sitting at the dining table which is positioned directly under the stairwell. Cottage 4 is also located the furthest from the carpark, and requires visitors to carry their cases down a narrow gravel path.
