The communication with the hosts was excellent. Elias contacted us via WhatsApp with instructions and told us that Martin would be waiting for us on arrival. Our flight was delayed by 37 hours and unfortunately we arrived at the apartment at 2.30am. We kept updating our hosts and they offered to arrange transport from the airport, which we were very appreciative of, especially at such an early hour of the morning. Despite our delay Martin was waiting for us at the apartment and still went through all the info we would need, despite the early hour of the morning. The hosts even contacted us late afternoon, on the day of our arrival, to ask if everything was okay and did we need anything, which was very thoughtful. The apartment was exactly what we had hoped for, with everything we needed and more for our stay, a well equipped kitchen, kettle and coffee machine with plenty of pods. There was extra bedding and towels should we need them. The great bonus was the lovely terrace/balcony with a view of the Acropolis. The location is also excellent, walking distance to the Acropolis, restaurants, bars and cafes. We used a SPA shop that was 15 mins walk away, just down from the Temple of Zeus and a local shop a little closer on Arthanasiou Diakou street. I think there are closer mini markets. I would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again.

If I was being picky, some sort of curtains over the patio doors to the balcony would have given more privacy/stopped the light, but we could have closed the external shutters if it had been a big issue. Also there was only one mirror in the bathroom, so if anyone is in the shower, you can't use the steamed up mirror. A second one in the main apartment would be helpful. I had a small mirror with me, so this wasn't a problem. It certainly wouldn't stop me staying again.

Location, clean, washing machine. Balcony. Martin helped with our bags to the apartment and then to store when leaving. It was an excellent place to stay

Martin was wonderful! He was very accommodating and did everything he could to be sure we were comfortable. After a mix-up of the ferry system, we were extremely late to arrive at Martin's apartment. I made him aware of our tardiness and he went as far as tried to make arrangements for a ride from the port to the apartment. When that didn't work out, he met us at the Metro and walked us to the apartment. Who does that? Martin does! I would definitely go back!

Know that this is a 3rd floor walk up without an elevator. Maybe the only negative, but certainly not the fault of Martin. (He kindly carried my luggage up!)

The location was excellent. The balcony and the scenery.

Too heavy dust I.e under bed/couch, TV, bathroom doors. Lack of pillows. Some need two behind head and one for knees.
