The view, the staff, the breakfast.

All the sounds at night keeping us awake especially the AC compressor of our neighbors, in addition to the traffic and the train running all the night. Our bathroom needed some maintenance because the sink and the shower basin were broken.

Very dated, would really benefit from a major revamp.

I loved the part that it was next to the lake and easy to swim. Also, very friendly staff! We felt very welcomed. The fact that you get fresh towels everyday is also a plus!

The beds were quite hard and too short for me to lay in. Hope this gets changed in the future. Also, we did not try out the restaurant because of the limited menu, and not offering food for the beach.

Waited 1 hour for a simple backed veg dinner. Attic room, no lift to the room very small widow for air and a view, ac not working just blowing air

Clean and nice Place, amazing view

Amazing stay on the shore of Lago Maggiore lake. Cozy rooms, amazing views via the window.

We missed the coffee machine or kettle in the room. Also, the breakfast was very basic (standard italian sweet breakfast with few slices of meat, which we don't eat as vegetarians...). Good thing is that if you ask, they can make you an omlette or boiled eggs. And give a normal coffee from the machine. So that saved the day!

This is our second stay in this hotel this year (see my previous review from July) and we plan to come back again, whenever possible. The lake district is magic for us. We liked its' excellent situation directly on the Lago Maggiore shore, within a walking distance from Baveno and a short drive from other tourist attraction around the lake (Arona, Stresa, Verbania and the lake ferries) or even the Orta lake. Since the hotel is a family run business the service is much more personal than in a regular hotel. The view over the lake is worth the extra money. The dinners are a pure joy, the chef being one of the owners and founders of the hotel. During our previous stay we took only one dinner here, this time we dinned every evening in the hotel restaurant. It is much better than many of the "standard" restaurants to be found in the city. There is also ample parking place, a problem in some hotels.

Staff at breakfast not efficient and not really welcoming

We spent one night and the room & stuff from the hotel were exceptional! Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious, they arranged it really well according to COVID’s safety rules. We enjoyed the free bikes and it was amazing to bike around Lago Maggiore!

Wifi was not working

The service, very kind people. The Breakfast, more then enough and tasy :)

TV satellite/cable poor quality. Don't have much program for international tourists. (mostly is Italian)

The access to the lake is dangerous

Very cute little hotel by the lake with great views... Perfect to relax and swim in the lake.
