The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and well equipped, and the location was perfect with covered onsite parking!! The beach was a few steps away and the hotel provided everything we could possibly need: beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, books, water, etc., etc., etc! We could walk up to the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The overland trail to the point to watch the sunset and fruit bats was our favorite thing to do every evening. It was an easy walk to the wharf to board boats for our snorkeling tours. I only wish we had booked more days here. It is with the greatest enthusiasm that we recommend By the Sea Port Douglas!!
We loved everything!!
