We are return guests who choose Vila Luz every time we visits. It’s just so relaxing and perfectly situated a short walk from the town. We love it!

A simple, easygoing hotel with a lovely vibe. The studio was perfect for three people, and the pool was good.
The beach is around a 20-minute walk away. It may not be the best beach in town, but the walk itself is lovely.
We tried breakfast and loved it — the best pastéis ever!
The staff are the sweetest and make the stay even better. It's a good value for money.
The location is a little away from town, so you'll need to travel around to explore the main attractions, but it's worth it for the value and friendly atmosphere.

The room was excellent and very clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the sea and over the pool area. We were particularly impressed by having the room cleaned and fresh towels every day. The breakfast area was nice by the pool and the selection for breakfast was extensive. We would have liked a bit more variety than just eggs and bacon every day.
Nothing really
