Convenient to airport and was on a main bus route. Free shuttle from, but not to, the airport ( only $10 though). Within walking distance to Indian restaurant and dairy.
They forgot to give us milk for hot drinks and we were too tired to chase it up. Otherwise, all good.

The room itself was nice and clean and the bed comfortable.
The area is not close to any shops for food. Also, the motel advertises a free shuttle to and from the airport and early and late check outs at an extra cost.
Firstly, the shuttle to the motel was free. But not available until 2 pm, which is check-in time. Despite my asking for an earlier check-in, I was told bluntly checkin is 2pm.
When I got there, I was asked if I needed a shuttle back to the airport the next day and was told it was $10. I said no, it's free, and I was told there was a policy change 2 days prior. I booked more than 2 days ago and pointed that out. I had to argue to get the $10 waived, which was done very reluctantly.... despite the so-called policy change, booking.com still says free shuttle to and from the airport.
I explained I had a late flight the next day, and could I get a later check out and was told check out is at 10 am. I then said that I would get the shuttle at 10 am as I didn't want to hang around the airport any longer than I had to. I had a knock on my door at 945am for the shuttle.
The place is well overpriced for what it is, but the main letdown was the staff and their attitude. I wouldn't stay here again.

We did mot know we can have breakfast just the cleanliness. The shower was wet and the toilet bowl was nit brushed.

🤩 We liked and enjoyed everything that was provided, especially the spa bath. And reception check in welcomed us with a smile.
Not having a pan and spatula to make our pancakes. Next time will bring them.

Contacted us to let us know that we were due to be picked up and taken to the airport.
The room was light and airy and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were also excellent

Cleanliness, Ease of checking in and out and staff at main reception were very accommodating. Very quiet and could easily sleep through the entire night with no concerns. Parking was literally right outside my door.

Loved the shuttle to and from the airport and being able to leave my car there.

Everything was lovely, rooms were clean and tidy and beds were comfy.
No cooking utensils for the stove had to go ask at reception. They charged my card before we arrived with the extra fee but I was prepared to pay cash, Everywhere else I’ve stayed they haven’t done this…. They did give me a refund but should have waited and checked first.
We had a spa in our room but after one spa and one shower there was no more hot water

We made one call to the motel after our arrival from the South Island and within 15 minutes we were picked up and brought directly to the hotel...it was great to get picked up so quickly. The motel is not "brand new," but most certainly met our needs for the one night, and along with a clean room, the price was certainly right. We did not arrive until about 5:30 p.m. at the Domestic Airport, and as a result we picked up some food at the airport to bring with us for dinner....that worked well as there is no restaurant at the motel, but we were surprised to see it set up as an "apartment" regarding all the cooking needs, fridge, etc. one would need. The owners were VERY nice...we did not need a ride back to the airport as our rental car company picked us up from the motel. There is certainly a ton of room to park if you have a rental car. Good location and for one night and nothing fancy, and price wise...."go for it!"

Staff were friendly and helpful, there was a laundry mat to do my laundry, it’s close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle, the room was spacious.
While having a spa was an advantage, I was disappointed to find that the filters/ jets haven’t been cleaned properly so a huge amount of water had been wasted because there was dirty floaty bits in the water, the built-in freezer in the mini fridge had defrosted and leaked all over the floor, the room smelt a bit moldy (but that could’ve been the whole area because of the floods) and there was cobwebs in the bathroom near the toilet.

Great that they had a shuttle bus to get you to the airport. Rooms were near and tidy and spacious. Would stay here again.
