The river view from my room was fantastic. I never tired of looking at it. The breakfast was very good and ample. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable and spacious. The location so near the bus and railway stations and an easy and very pleasant walk to all the sights and attractions, could not be bettered.
The only drawback was not being able to have or make hot drinks in the bedrooms but that is not too difficult to live with as they can be made in the downstairs breakfast room at all times of day.

Characterful and good location next to the railway station but good views over the river. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Would like hot drink facilities in the room.

Its location
The staff were quite surly. Lots of restrictions on what you could and couldn’t do. Frowns from restaurant staff.
